If there’s one thing I learned from makeup trends this year, it’s the fact that matte lip is a surprisingly flattering look on me. All my life I gravitated toward glossier finishes, and I have a lot more lip gloss tubes in my stash than all other lip products combined. Well, what I meant to say is that I had that many glosses, but not anymore. After falling in love with matte finish I promptly found new homes for most of my glosses and lipsticks that I probably won’t wear again until they reach the expiration date.
