Weekly Favorites #1

Uhh.. I’m terrible about starting new series and dropping them after a few entries, but I really hope I can stick with this one, just like I stuck with my monthly Empties posts. Here are the products “trending” in my rotation this week.

TATCHA Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil – I’ve been using this cleansing oil every night to remove all traces of makeup. It dissolves everything properly, and I don’t need to double cleanse. Really like how soft it makes my skin feel!

TATCHA Supple Moisture Rich Silk Cream – My skin has been loving this cream lately, it provides just the right amount of moisture without making it feel greasy and sticky. Perfect for Summer!

TATCHA Gold Camellia Nourishing Lip Balm – It’s hard to find a good petroleum-free lip balm, but this one from TATCHA has been my staple since I received it for review. It actually heals the cracks in my lips, and also works well as a lipstick primer.

TATCHA Luminous Deep Hydration Firming Serum – One of the most recent additions to the brand’s lineup, this serum is currently my nighttime staple. It replenishes the moisture and elasticity in my skin after daily sun exposure and/or a day spent in an air-conditioned room.

MAX Clinic Caviar Massage Oil Foam Cleanser – I don’t have any special attachment to this cleanser, but I just keep using it every day in the morning, because it makes my skin feel fresh and preps it for the rest of my skincare routine.

Elensilia EGF Renovage Youth Activating Eye Cream – I wasn’t expecting to like this eye cream, but I keep reaching for it again and again lately. It really makes my undereye area look brighter and smoother.

Supergoop City Sunscreen Serum – You all know I love skincare and good SPF products, and this serum is both. I’ve been wearing it under the moisturizer every day lately.

Supergoop Advanced Anti-Aging Eye Cream – Eyes need protection, too! So far this is the only eye cream with SPF that my eyes approve of.

Eddie Funkhouser Luxlight Revitalizing Foundation in Fair – I reach for this foundation every day. It provides medium/light coverage [which is what I normally prefer] and the shade is the perfect match for me.

Hourglass Cosmetics Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light – An ultimate beauty perfector, this powder blurs out the imperfections and creates that Instagram filter effect.

Hourglass Cosmetics Film Noir Full Spectrum Mascara – I have about a dozen of mascaras open and this is the one I’ve been using lately. What I like about it the most is how smoothly it goes on, it feels like butter on the lashes, like I’m actually moisturizing them. I know it sounds weird, but I have not felt that with any other mascara.

City Color Be Matte Blush in Fresh Melon – Who knew I would like a $3 blush, but I really do. The color is gorgeous and the pigmentation is perfect. I’ve been wearing it every single day, and as boring as it sounds, I just can’t get myself to use anything else.

theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer – I normally switch up highlighters often, and this is the one I’m currently using. Lots of people like it, because it can double as a gorgeous champagne eye shadow.

It Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Powder BrushBest. Powder. Brush. Period. Seriously, I was very hesitant to spend almost $50 on a single brush, and I read a ton of reviews before I finally splurged [ensuring that I can return it if I wasn’t completely satisfied], but in the end it was worth every penny.

Sally Hansen Insta-dri Nail Polish in Poppin’ Paprika – You might have seen this nail polish on my toes in a recent post, and I’ve been obsessing with this color all week. Sporting it on my nails right now!

Zents PEAR Eau de Toilette – Very light, very Summery fragrance! It’s me in a a bottle 🙂

Atelier Cologne Vanille Insensee – Another fragrance that I’ve been obsessing over lately, this little bottle has been traveling in my makeup bag wherever I go.

Obviously, these are not all of the products I’ve been using this week, but I’ve been reaching for them most often. My preferences change all the time, depending on my skin condition, weather and other factors, so I’m sure this list will be slightly [or very] different next week!

I’ve been trying for months to do a weekly favorites and I know I will fail lol. I can barely get my monthly ones up in time!

On another note, that IT brush is HOLY GRAIL for me! Love it!

I know how you feel, I’m TERRIBLE when it comes to weekly features, so i hope this one sticks. And yes, that brush is like the best brush ever and worth every penny. I know it’s a crazy thing to say about a $50 brush, but holy smokes it’s seriously amazing.

I love that in the middle of all the luxe products, you admit to loving a $3 blush! so cute. You’ve got me sooo jonesin to try Tatcha! Everything they make seems luxurious and wonderful.

It totally deserves the spotlight! Usually lower end products just don’t have the formula good enough to make me reach for them over and over, but this one did 🙂

I’ve heard a lot of good stuff about Super Goop, but I’ve never tried it.

Rightfully so! They have amazing lightweight sunscreens for every part of the body that won’t clog pores.
