1 // Lalicious Brown Sugar Vanilla Shower Oil and Bubble Bath – To be honest, I thought this was just another body wash. POPSUGAR sent like a dozen of them in the past, and they were just nice at best. This one is different. It looks and feels like a thick oil, but when it comes in contact with water, it emulsifies and produces rich creamy lathes. However, it’s the fragrance that won me over! This delightful body wash smells like creme brulee, which happens to be my favorite dessert.
2 // Morning Culture Rise & Shine Diner Mug – I’ve always wanted an Instagram-worthy mug, but couldn’t justify buying one. After all, I already have 2 sets of mugs so buying more mismatching ones is overkill. Besides, I felt like I would never even use them. But getting this one made me so happy! I am glad to finally have a cup just for fun, that doesn’t have to match the rest of my tableware.
3 // My Cup of Cocoa Dark Drinking Chocolate – Along with the mug POPSUGAR also included a small cardboard tin of hot chocolate, which turned out to be really delicious. I made it with unsweetened almond milk and it was the perfect treat on a chilly afternoon!
4 // Power Your Happy by Lisa Sugar – I wanted to read this one! This book is perfect for small business owners, and even for bloggers. Filled with Lisa’s personal stories, business tips, and motivational advice, it’s a solid read if you like a good success story.
5 // Makeup Eraser Mini – A little bit of warm water is all it takes to turn this piece of microfiber cloth into the perfect makeup remover. I actually prefer to use cleansing products, like oils and micellar water, to remove my makeup, but this is definitely the most travel-friendly way to do it.
6 // Henri Bendel Umbrella – Our big ticket item this time is a high end umbrella from Henri Bendel. The design is pretty classic, with alternating white and brown stripes, raspberry trim and lettering. I like my current umbrella more because it’s automated [you push a b button to open and close the umbrella], while this one is manual, but the design is way prettier than mine. I think I’m going to keep it in the car instead of that old ugly freebie from Robitussin haha 🙂 I was kind of embarrassed to take it out in public, and now I don’t have to be.
7 // Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eye Pen – POPSUGAR often includes a little bonus in their monthly MustHave boxes, and in October it’s an eyeliner from Revlon. While I generally don’t mind getting eyeliners in my subscription boxes, I am just not a big fan of this brand. However, I know a lot of people like their cosmetics so I will be giving this one to a friend.
BOTTOM LINE:
I am pretty impressed with box contents this month! POPSUGAR historically released their best boxes in the fall, and so far they have been following that pattern without fail. I really enjoyed the products included in my October shipment, everything was just perfect for the season. I am most excited about the mug and hot chocolate, this is the coziest duo ever! I’m not exaggerating when I say that unboxing this month’s MustHave box made my day 🙂
