As you know, I just cancelled my Birchbox paid subscription, cashed in my points and bought a gift subscription for myself. Everyone who receives a gift subscription gets a Welcome box instead of that month’s box, and it’s usually filled with disappointing leftovers.
I expected my box to be bad but it ended up being quite nice surprisingly. Whether it’s because I had low expectations to begin with or because the box really was pretty good, I actually liked most of the products I got.
