A few days ago I posted a brief overview of Milani’s NEW Limited Edition Dolci Bronze Collection for Summer 2015, and today I wanted to get more in-depth about the nail polish. Just like I said in my initial post, Milani Color Statement Nail Lacquer 55 Dolci is not one you want to pass up.
There are plenty of good drugstore nail polishes out there, some are even great, but few are truly outstanding. I’ve been wearing 55 Dolci on my nails for over a week, and the color still looks as fresh as the day I applied it. There are no chips or cracks, and the beautiful metallic finish is as shiny as on day one. I don’t own any other Milani Color Statement polishes, so I don’t know if that kind of quality is consistent, but I am really loving this one!
I know my order of things is totally messed up, because usually I describe the color first and the formula second, but I’m sure you can understand my excitement 🙂 Anyhow, the color is probably best described as a bronzey rose gold with very fine silvery metallic shimmer. It applies evenly and fully opaque with just one coat, but I always do at least two for good measure [and to add some thickness to my thin nails].
The chromed finish is absolutely gorgeous and will complement a wide range of skin tones. It’s the perfect bold-neutral color to rock on your nails this Summer, whether it’s a mani or a pedi, and it will look super flattering on anyone. I am pretty pale, and I think it looks beautiful with my NC15 complexion!

All I can say is, run, don’t walk, to buy 55 Dolci if you are in the market for some high quality rose gold nail polish. I saw Dolci Bronze displays at CVS, but other drugstores might have them, too. And, of course the entire collection is available at MilaniCosmetics.com.
WHERE TO BUY: $3.99 for 0.34 fl. oz. Available at MilaniCosmetics.com, CVS and other local drugstores.

I’m going to CVS to look for the collection today!
I hope you find it! It’s such a lovely color for end of Summer.
I looooove that polish! I need to get it ASAP!
You know you do, girl!
Such a pretty color!
Agreed! I’m really liking that rusty bronze for pre-Fall 🙂
I really hope I can find this new collection since I like this polish a lot and I want the new eyeshadow.
I’ve only seen a CVS display so far, so I’m not sure where and when this collection will pop up. I hope you can find it!
Soooo pretty!
Agreed!
lovely rose gold polish!
Love rose gold! It looks beautiful with all skin tones.
omg this is gorgeous! MUST FIND!
Haha, happy hunting! I only spotted the display at CVS, but they might be rolling in at Walgreens, too.
I think it’s a little too frosty for my taste, but it goes right along with the theme!
I’m normally not a fan of frosty finishes, but this one looked like a chromed metallic. So pretty!
That is SUCH a pretty shade! I’d love it for the Summer to Fall transition!
That’s exactly what I thought when I bought it, Brooke. Perfect transition color!
Oh thank you for sharing this shade. I was eyeing it online but didn’t want to get it before I had seen some good swatches 😀
Yay, glad I could help! 🙂
I cannot find these in stores! Love it!
Oh noooo! I hope they place the displays in your area soon. I’ve only seen one at CVS so far, but they might put them in Walgreens and other drugstores, too.
That gold is LIFE
Ditto!
