Wahoo! I was really excited about the 70s decade, because it seems like a fun one. In the month of August SquareHue’s mini-collection is inspired by disco balls, political conspiracies, and the technology of the future. Scroll down to find out the details!

This midnight blue microglitter is actually a multichrome that shifts from teal to purple to blue, depending on the angle. The formula was quite sheer, and I could see the tip of my nail peeking through even after three coats, but the polish goes on so smoothly and evenly, it actually looks really cool.

This signature warm white high gloss creme is the perfect color to represent the company with their futuristic-minimalistic designs. The coverage is highly opaque and the formula is easy to work with, because unlike most white polishes it doesn’t leave unsightly streaks.

It contains holographic particles of assorted shapes and sizes that create a really fun effect on the nails. So far I wore it alone and as a topper, and I actually really like the way it pairs with lighter cremes. Honestly, the pictures don’t do it justice – it’s much more impressive in real life when all those shimmers sparkle in the light.

I made a video to show the complexity of both Night Fever and Watergate, but as you can probably tell, I’m really not so great at making these 🙂 I know that vertical videos are annoying to watch, but these were originally on Snapchat and I never thought they’d make it to YouTube. On the plus side, looks like my phone makes pretty decent quality videos, so maybe I’ll film something in the future!

It’s very versatile and I can see myself wearing these colors with lots of different outfits and looks. I can’t pick a favorite this time, because I loved all three!
