Graze Box Review: January Nibblebox #1

I was recently introduced to this new weekly food subscription called Graze. It’s apparently a big deal in the UK and now it’s available for the US customers.

Graze box costs $5/week and you can choose which snacks you would love to receive more of, or less of, or never. I had to trash several peanut-containing options because I just dislike the taste of peanuts, which still left me with a TON of options.

About Graze:
Graze is a snack food subscription providing over 90 different snack options for you to choose from. Every week they will deliver a box with 4 snacks depending on your food preferences and each one of them is supposed to provide at least one health benefit. Currently Graze subscription is in beta-testing mode and they’re invite-only, so your only option is to use someone’s invite code. By using my code your first and fifth boxes will be free, so you are paying $15 for 5 weeks of tasty noms 🙂
If you would like to use my referral code click here to join Graze. Thank you!

My options this week included Toffee apple, Boston baguettes, Hickory smoked nuts and seeds and Pina colada. You can actually check out my box contents here and I think it’s really cool that they let us share our box links like that. I love seeing what other people get in their boxes, so don’t be shy to share!

I rushed to write this review even though I didn’t even try everything in the box yet. I really wanted to tell you  guys about this new subscription and of course show you some pictures. I’m just so excited about this one, you have no idea!
Now, onto the contents…

Boston baguettes

BBQ relish: tomato, onion, apple, dates, garlic, sugar, vinegar, spices, soy sauce, tamarind paste, chili, mustard

Tomato breadsticks: wheat flour, vegetable oil, tomato powder, salt, yeast, malted cereal flour, oregano”

This was the first thing I saw in my dashboard when I logged in and I immediately clicked “love” on it because they just looked so amazing. The baguettes were crunchy and well-spiced and the BBQ sauce was sooo delicious. I wonder if I can find the recipe for that sauce anywhere because it would be such a hit in my family. I wish there was an option to make sure they’re included in every box, that’s how much I loved them.

Toffee apple

Toffee sauce: golden syrup, sweetened skimmed condensed milk, unsalted butter, water, muscovado sugar, pectin, burnt sugar.

Apple: apple, citric acid, ascorbic acid”

I didn’t like it as much as I thought I would. The toffee sauce was perfect but the apple couldn’t complement it well so it tasted a little bland in my opinion. I actually tried dipping a regular marshmallow into this sauce and the result was glorious! If you get this snack and don’t like the apples, try marshmallows 🙂

Pina colada

Pineapple: pineapple pieces

Coconut flakes: coconut flakes

Mango: mango, ascorbic acid, citric acid”

There are piles upon piles of snow outside and here I am eating yummy mangoes and pineapples. I love everything about this snack, it’s sweet without any added sugar and it’s really healthy too. On graze website it’s marked with a golden star which means it’s one of their healthiest choices. Probably one of the yummiest too. I clicked “love” on this one and I can’t wait to have it again 🙂

Hickory smoked nuts and seeds

“Smoked almonds, smoked cashews, roasted pumpkin and roasted sunflower seeds”

This trail mix was meh mainly because there are too many sunflower seeds which are kind of bitter. I wouldn’t mind it if the ratio was different but in this particular mix they overpower everything else. I’m unfortunately going to “trash” this one so that I will never receive it again.
