I was introduced to Essence of Vali products in my January Yuzen box. We received a sample of their Sleep essence which is an aromatherapy blend to help us relax and promote better sleep quality. I honestly did not think it would work at all, besides I don’t particularly like the lavender scent.
However, I really wanted to see if it worked, and what do you know? I’m most likely going to purchase the full-sized bottle now because it really helped me sleep better, and the lavender in it did not annoy me at all.
I decided to check out their website to see what other fun products they might be offering and stumbled upon the page with the EOV fragrance. As you know, I really like citrusy notes so naturally I was curious to find out what this fragrance is all about. I filled out the sample request form on this page and next day I got an email informing me that my samples are on the way.
Here is what I got!
EOV Bath & Body Oil
I can see why this product is quickly becoming a bestseller. It’s scented with EOV blend of fragrant essential oils and infused with 100% pesticide-free golden jojoba oil to provide maximum moisture. I stirred one cap-full in my bath and applied another cap-full on my body after taking a shower. My skin felt very soft and smelled divine!
EOV Eau de Parfum
This perfume smells similar to Urban Organic from A Perfume Organic, another citrusy/floral fragrance. It is a very unique blend that contains essential oils of lavender, rosewood, cedarwood, patchouli, palmarosa, geranium, litsea cubeba and clove. This sophisticated fragrance also won the Best Natural Product award at 2004 Fall Extracts Show in NYC.
Sleep A Bedtime Ritual
I have previously received this sample in my January Yuzen box and absolutely loved it. I definitely sleep better now and I find myself enjoying the fragrance quite a bit. I put one drop of this oil on the corner of my pillow and the effect lasts me two nights.
The verdict: Essence of Vali makes fantastic 100% natural aromatherapy products, especially the Sleep blend which is currently their most popular item, and I highly recommend you try them out if you get the chance.
