I often talk about at-home pampering on this blog, and today I have a new brand to introduce! Blancrème was created in 2009 by two aspiring French entrepreneurs Dany Martins and Nicolas Guiber. Both of them are no strangers to the world of beauty: Dany worked with Escada, Grès, Pier Augé, Jf. Lazartigue, Swissline, and finally met Nicolas, who at the time worked with PAYOT. Together they had an idea to create skin care that combines “poetry and pleasure of senses”, which is a very French way of enjoying me-time.
Blancrème was noticed by prestigious Parisian retail giants Printemps, Nocibe, and Beauty Monop, who all expressed interest in carrying the line in their stores around Christmas time, which helped the brand gain popularity in France and bordering countries. Dany and Nicolas finally decided to introduce Blancrème to the global market and began selling small batches in USA and Canada to test the waters.
Blancrème team embraces cruelty-free and eco-friendly lifestyle. The products come packaged in reusable glass bottles and jars, and topped with aluminum caps that can be easily recycled; and the formulas don’t contain parabens, phthalates, and palm oil.
The company sent me minis of three most popular products to try: Verbena Foaming Bath, Green Tea Body Scrub, and Verbena Green Tea Souffle Body Cream. I immediately noted that the packaging is absolutely adorable and totally gift-worthy – don’t they look like something you’d find in someone’s pantry?
Both the bath foam and the body cream smelled delicious – I am a huge fan of verbena fragrance and often buy products scented with verbena from other brands. The body cream was thicker than I’m used to, but it was also very moisturizing, and a little went a long way. It has a light fresh grassy fragrance that doesn’t linger on the skin, so scent-sensitive people won’t be bothered by it.
The body scrub contains large grains of sugar, that make a great natural alternative to plastic beads. Many companies are phasing them out from their lines after they’ve been proven to be bad for the environment, so Blancrème is ahead of the game here.
So far my experience with this trio was nothing but positive. After taking a relaxing bubble bath, sloughing off dry skin cells, and sealing in moisture, I was left with calm thoughts and baby soft skin. I have not experienced any irritation or headache while using these products, and that’s a good sign, because I’m very prone to migraines.

I love the packaging. The scrub and souffle body cream look great.
I know, right? The packaging is at least half of the fun for me when it comes to beauty products.
I am completely sold. I need these products in my life
They are really nice, and smell very natural, unlike chemically-scented products. And that packaging!
I love the packaging! So cute, and I love to repurpose things like that!
Right? The packaging makes them look even better than they are, and they’re already pretty awesome 🙂
These photos are gorgeous! I want to try all the things!
Thank you Brooke! You girls inspire me to get better at staging photos every day 🙂
Oh, I love everything about these! The packaging is totally display-worthy, and I love verbena.
Right? They are now proudly sitting on my bathroom counter 🙂
I love verbena and I grow it in my garden in the summer. These sound like a delight!
A fellow verbena lover, how nice! And I never thought about growing my own, maybe I should try it this summer. Do you think it can grow in pots on a porch?
Love the packaging, especially of the foaming bath. I’m a huge fan of L’Occitane Verbena range so these sound great!
Yes, me, too, I adore L’Occitane’s Verbena line! And Blancreme is also from France, where they sure know how to pamper 😉
I was already intrigued by the packaging and the products sound great.
I’m especially loving the body souffle, it feels amazing on the skin and smells like real verbena, not a bunch of perfume and chemicals. Good stuff!
I am completely intrigued by this line and the packaging. Just looking at it reminds me of relaxation.
Oh I love that you can get this at F21! They’ve added some great new shops!
