It’s no secret that Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is one of the most anticipated shopping events of the year in the blogging world, after all it’s not every day that we get an opportunity to grab high end Limited Edition products and beauty exclusives at reduced prices, including my favorite Whish body treats!
This year, Whish created an exclusive Soda Fountain Collection for the sale, inspired by old fashioned soda pop fountains. With classic “flavors” like Black Cherry, Ginger Melon, Key Lime and Orange Cream, there is no wrong choice. Folks at Whish were kind enough to send me a small sample preview of one of the scents.
I’ve always been a fan of that sugary-sweet melon flavor as a kid, so of course the jumbo-sized Ginger Melon Body Butter immediately grabbed my attention. For $15 you will get a whole pound of deliciously-scented goodness that moisturizes the skin and makes it smell like dessert. This body butter is especially great for dry skin and rough areas that need some extra care, like elbows and knees, but I applied it all over in the evening before going to bed to have the sweetest dreams 🙂
My husband loves the scent, too, and he’s usually not one to comment on my fragrances. I think a lot of guys like when girls smell like edible treats, and that’s why vanilla, chocolate, and fruit perfumes are so popular as gifts. Or, you know, like soda pop in this case! After falling in love with my preview sample, I’m pretty sure I will snag both the body butter and the body wash when the sale opens for the public [I don’t have Nordstrom card, so usually have to wait for a few days].

Guerlain Météorites Summer Edition Pearls – I figured if I ever bought a jar of Meteorites, it would be some kind of Limited Edition in gorgeous packaging, like this one. The white jar looks almost like porcelain!
NARS Blame it on NARS Cheek Palette comes with a travel-sized Ita brush, that many beauty bloggers consider a must-have for contouring. I just think the colors in this palette are super wearable and versatile, and it would even make a great gift.
NARS Ultimate NARS Lip Pencil Set is a holy trinity of lip crayons, perfect for day, afternoon, and night makeup looks. It also includes Stourhead, which is a hard-to-get Limited Edition shade.
GLAMGLOW GLAMAZING Set – While some people I know don’t get the appeal of GLAMGLOW, I personally think their products are amazing for my skin. This set has my favorite eye masks, and the full-sized jar of a multi-purpose moisturizing treatment that I wanted to try.
Whish Jumbo Flawless Bump Fighter– one of my favorite products to combat ingrown hair is now available in a jumbo size! If you’re looking for a product like that, give it a go – this is a tremendous value for the money.
beautyblender must have trio is going to be more of a practical purchase, because my beautyblenders need to be replaced, and this is a really good deal.
Tom Ford Lips & Boys Set is something I’m currently contemplating. It’s quite pricey, but at the same time I really want it… and my birthday isn’t anytime soon. Help me, ladies, find me a good reason to justify this one!
