Packing skincare for a trip can be a daunting task, especially if your routine consists of of a dozen steps, like mine. That’s why, at least for the time of traveling, I prefer to use multitaskers, like WEI to Go Real Clean Gelled Oil Cleanser, that comes in a lightweight TSA-friendly squeeze tube. It effectively replaces a pre-cleanse oil, a foaming cleanser, and a bi-phase eye makeup remover – that’s a lot of time and space saved!

Tiny but mighty! Perfectly packaged in three portable 10 ml tubes. Real Clean is like no other cleanser designed to travel with you. Leaves your skin soft, fresh and real clean.

wei-real-cleam-gellied-oil-cleanser-review-01You know what they say about multi-tasking products? That they’re Jacks of all trades and masters of none. True as it may be, when you travel, it all comes down to convenience, and there’s nothing handier than a no-spill concentrated gel in a squeeze tube that can replace three steps in your routine.

Real Clean Gelled Oil Cleanser comes in a pack of three, which is supposed to be a 90-day supply; totally not something I would have guessed looking at those tiny tubes, each one smaller than my palm. I later discovered that it only takes a pea-sized amount to thoroughly cleanse the skin and melt off all makeup, but at first I slathered my face generously and ended up wasting a lot of product in the process. Live and learn, right? 🙂

wei-real-cleam-gellied-oil-cleanser-review-02Ingredients – CosDNA: Hydrogenated Poly(C6-14Olefin), Isohexadecane, Di-PPG-2 Myreth-10 Adipate, Ethylene/Propylene/Styrene Copolymer, Citrus Reticulata Peel Extract, Punica Granatum Extract, Silica, Butylene/Ethylene/Styrene Copolymer, Benzoic Acid, Phenoxyethanol.

You use Real Clean Gelled Oil Cleanser just like any other cleansing oil or balm – by rubbing it into dry skin with dry hands. I usually take my time massaging it in [never longer than 30 seconds] then simply rinse off all that melted makeup goo with lukewarm water. It’s worth noting that even though I use it to remove long-lasting eye makeup, such as waterproof mascara and eyeliner, it never stung my eyes, not even once. In case you also care about the fragrance, this gel is totally unscented, so it doesn’t smell like anything.

wei-real-cleam-gellied-oil-cleanser-review-03Do you need this? I won’t lie, there’s just no way Real Clean Gelled Oil Cleanser does as good of a job as my regular three-step cleansing routine, but it does in fact remove makeup pretty well, even my waterproof mascara. I definitely wouldn’t use it every day, but it’s great for traveling, and takes very little space.

WHERE TO BUY: $26 USD for 3 x 0.5fl. oz. Available at WEI, Birchbox, Dermstore.
