Wantable Intimates Box Unboxing and Review: December 2013

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I’m seeing more and more Intimates box reviews popping up around the blogosphere, and I always enjoy reading them to find out more about the comfy essentials Wantable curators selected for each subscriber. Actually, every box I have seen so far had one or two items that I would love to own!

HOW IT WORKS
For $36/month subscribers will receive a personalized selection of 4 to 5 premium essentials from brands like Jockey, Coobie, Pheel, Argoz, and Muk Luks – all hand-picked to perfectly match your preferences. There are plenty of style and color options to choose from to make sure there’s something for everyone. And for those of you that don’t want a box every month there’s an easy button to skip your next shipment right in your account dashboard.

The first thing I saw when I opened the box was a lace-trimmed black hipster panty from Coobie. I already received this one before in my October box, but I seriously wear it all the time so I’m happy to have a spare. As I said in my previous review, the fancy design and comfortable feel remind me a lot of Hanky Panky, and the quality is also on par. This one’s a keeper for sure!

Next item was a black bralet from Fleur’t, which I’m wearing right now. The material is very soft, thin and non-scratchy, and provides decent support without looking like a bra [for flat-chested girls like myself at least]. I wore it almost every day since I got my box, and even slept in it a couple nights ago. Actually, it kind of makes a “set” with the previously mentioned Coobie panty, since both are black and lace-trimmed.

My third item was this lace-trimmed pink leopard boyshort-style panty from Q-T Intimates. While I think the pattern and the design are cute, it just didn’t seem to fit me right, so I will be giving it away. Before you cringe, I always try bottoms over thin cotton leggings, so it’s not quite as gross as you thought 🙂

And last but not least, a super comfy PACT tank top that quickly became one of my lounging staples. By wearing this special edition racerback made of soft tencel and linen, we are supporting the movement to build 100 urban gardens across America. I have never heard of this brand before, but I like supporting companies that donate some of their proceeds to charity, so I’ll be shopping with them again in the future.

THE VERDICT
Three out of four seems to be my standard outcome with Wantable Intimates boxes, which I still consider to be a good record. In fact, this selection was so successful, that I can’t even pinpoint my favorite among the three, since I really loved all of them equally.

Have you tried Wantable Intimates yet? What was your favorite item?
