Take a look >> http://bit.ly/1MsWYv0tk Hibiscus Cool Mint Hibiscus Tea tastes exactly like the delicious homemade karkade tea we had in Egypt. It has that fruity taste and sweet floral fragrance nthat trick you into thinking that you’re drinking some sort of a berry lemonade. Sweetened with honey and served over ice, this is the perfect alternative to soft drinks and juice.

Naked Granola Taste Of Maine is one of my favorite treats in this box. It strikes the perfect balance of sweet, sour, salty, and nutty flavors paired with the fresh chewy texture that makes it an ideal companion for my morning parfaits and as an ice cream topping. I’m sure it would work in a smoothie, too, but I just really like it as it is. This is a hefty full-sized bag that will last me at least a month!

Urthbox May 2015 Review & Unboxing: My May box was loaded with kinds of organic snacks, healthy treats, and other NON-GMO goodies! Take a look >> http://bit.ly/1MsWYv0Organico Raw Kale Chips were better than expected. Sometimes kale chips can be too bitter or too crispy, but these were nice and chewy, and tasted like “nothing with sea salt”, and if you’ve tried kale chips before, you know that’s a compliment. In short, I liked them!

Wausome Wafers Clever Cheddar Cheese Crisps were the first thing my husband noticed in the box, because he loves cheese. They are made with 100% Wisconsin cheddar, so we both expected them to taste like ambrosia. Unfortunately, neither hubs nor I liked the flavor – it’s like these crisps were missing something. They were quite oily and not salty enough for our taste.

Urthbox May 2015 Review & Unboxing: My May box was loaded with kinds of organic snacks, healthy treats, and other NON-GMO goodies! Take a look >> http://bit.ly/1MsWYv0Eat Real Quinoa Chili Lime Chips were delicious! It’s like a fancier version of Sun Chips, so if you tried those, you know roughly what these would be like. Chili lime flavoring was a tad subtle, but still delicious. I think it would be great if these were a bit spicier, but we still devoured them.

Bandar Crisped Harvest Vegetables – Bright and crispy, these simple baked veggie chips were a crunchy delight! I like my veggies plain and simple, and there’s nothing complicated about these – they taste like veggie chips I could probably make in my own oven, and that’s good.

Urthbox May 2015 Review & Unboxing: My May box was loaded with kinds of organic snacks, healthy treats, and other NON-GMO goodies! Take a look >> http://bit.ly/1MsWYv0Qancha Air Toasted Peruvian Corn Snack – I like the idea behind this crunchy snack, it’s a great alternative to chips. I am not a huge fan of corn in general so to me the flavor seemed quite average, but they were toasted well and salted properly. And no icky kernels!

Crunchies Freeze Dried Fruit – these seem too dry to eat as they are, but they are exceptional as a yogurt topping! The texture is hard to describe, it’s like fruit popcorn? And if you close your eyes, you probably won’t guess right away what exactly it is you’re eating; it’s almost like something out a molecular gastronomy book.

Urthbox May 2015 Review & Unboxing: My May box was loaded with kinds of organic snacks, healthy treats, and other NON-GMO goodies! Take a look >> http://bit.ly/1MsWYv0Organic Living Superfoods Salt & Vinegar AlmondsChia Energy Squares – I’m a big time almond lover, but I hated these. They were so bitter! Have you ever tried to pry open a peach pit from an unripe fruit? That’s what these tasted like to me – very bitter. I can’t imagine this was an intended flavor. Now, the Chia squares were absolutely amazing – one of my favorite snacks in this box for sure. They were chewy, sweet, and very nutritious. One tiny square stopped my cravings for an hour!

Urthbox May 2015 Review & Unboxing: My May box was loaded with kinds of organic snacks, healthy treats, and other NON-GMO goodies! Take a look >> http://bit.ly/1MsWYv06350 Natural Foods Raspberry All Natural Whole-Fruit Snack – I love raspberries, and this snack tastes like raspberry preserves turned into strings. It’s very sweet, and still has all the seeds, which get stuck in my teeth all the time. But despite that, I still love it, because that flavor is the best – it’s like a taste of childhood for me!

Sol Simple Organic Bananas – If you like dried bananas, you’ll like this snack, because that’s what it is. Dried banana pieces. Plain and simple. I personally think they were delicious because in their simplicity, since banana is already a very flavorful fruit and doesn’t need any alterations.

Urthbox May 2015 Review & Unboxing: My May box was loaded with kinds of organic snacks, healthy treats, and other NON-GMO goodies! Take a look >> http://bit.ly/1MsWYv0Evo Hemp Inflammatory Health Bar – This tasted like a normal meal bar, but apparently it’s a super healthy snack filled with powerful antioxidants and organic ingredients. The flavor is totally forgettable though, but that’s not the point of these bars anyway.

Eat Real Fruit & Nut Milk Chocolate Bar – Delicious! That’s how granola bars should be – simple, healthy, and tasty. Obviously, the chocolate part was what won me over, but the mix of fruits, nuts, and grains was well-balanced and well-seasoned, too.

Urthbox May 2015 Review & Unboxing: My May box was loaded with kinds of organic snacks, healthy treats, and other NON-GMO goodies! Take a look >> http://bit.ly/1MsWYv0Nud Mini Spirulina Banana Crisps – These tasted like cardboard with a trace of banana. I guess I’m biased because I’m just not a huge fan of spirulina powder, it has that weird earthy flavor like you’re eating grass and dirt, but I know that it’s really good for you, so I ate this pack and forgot about it.

Fruigees Nothing Beets Cherry Organic Fruit Snack – Yum! I love beets and cherries, but this puree tasted definitely more like cherries with apples, because it had that sour kick to it, which I normally associate with green apples. It was a delicious healthy snack that I really enjoyed, easily my top 5 in this box.

… and one coupon valid for one free Bandar product, so if I see those crisped veggies again, that’s what I’ll get with it. The coupon is valid on any one item priced up to $4.99.

THE VERDICT: Can you guess which tier this was? Looked like a big one to me, but apparently this was only a Small box [the $16.99 one], how amazing is that? The curation was spot on, and I really enjoyed trying all the delicious snacks. Based on my experience with this box, I can totally recommend trying it out, and with the $5 off coupon it’s an even sweeter deal.
