Springtime Skincare Upgrade with Stemology Cell Reboot Ageless Mask

Clothes and makeup are not the only things I change up for Spring; when it comes to skin care, my face is demanding a whole different set of products as well. Now that the days are getting longer and warmer, I can slowly phase out thick creams and highly nourishing serums in favor of lighter formulas. That’s usually true for my weekly treatments as well, although some of them I enjoy using regardless of the season. For example, a recent addition to my routine – Stemology Cell Reboot Ageless Mask – has all the chances of becoming an all year round staple.

Stemology Cell Reboot Ageless MaskTBC_Collaborative Post HEADERStemology has quite a story to tell! After one of the founders of DermaTech Research Dr. Hal Simeroth witnessed the power of human adult stem cells to regenerate internal organs of his patients, he decided to test the efficacy of stem cells on the largest organ in our body – the skin. After years of research, Stemology brand now boasts some of the most innovative formulas on the market, including the proprietary StemCore-3 technology that combines the power of both human and plant-based stem cells.

One of the newest products from Stemology lineup – Cell Reboot Ageless Mask – can replace four different masks: exfoliating, lifting, brightening, and cleansing; and this concept totally fits with my Spring skin care overhaul. The mask features StemCore-3 Complex, that I mentioned earlier, which works like jumper cables for your skin’s ability to regenerate itself. It also contains Squalane, Carrot Seed, Meadowfoam Seed, and Argan Oils that nourish the skin and make it look instantly smoother. And of course, no self-respecting anti-aging treatment is complete without some tried and tested wrinkle-smoothing ingredients, in this case Hyaluronic Acid and Oat Kernel Extract, that plump the skin and push out fine lines. The mask comes in a really cool round pump jar with a small opening in the middle. This type of packaging is deal for preserving precious plant extracts and vitamins in the formula, and protecting them from oxidizing.

Stemology Cell Reboot Ageless Mask ReviewThe mask is highly concentrated so you only need to apply a thin layer to get the full benefits of this delightful formula. I found that for my medium-sized face I used about three pumps worth of product, or in this case I guess I should say three button pushes. The mask itself looks like runny brownie dough and has a faint herbal scent, but I couldn’t pinpoint which herbs I was smelling. Soon after the application, my skin starts tingling a little bit, but it’s not that strong uncomfortable feeling like the one you get when using chemical peels. Per instructions, I let the mask sit on my skin for 20 minutes, or until it dries completely, then rinse it off with lukewarm using a soft cotton washcloth.

I don’t say this lightly, but Stemology Cell Reboot Ageless Mask really lives up to its claims to provide instant results. The first thing I notice is how much brighter and plumper my skin appears to be, and after taking a closer look in a magnifying mirror I also notice slight reduction in depth and size of my forming fine lines. I did some research online, and found out that even if we use masks that provide skin smoothing only temporarily, it will still greatly slow down skin aging process and stave off the formation of deeper wrinkles, so all of these weekly treatments are not just a gimmick, and are worth investing in, if your goal is to look younger than your biological age.

Stemology Cell Reboot Ageless MaskLike any chemical exfoliating treatment, Cell Reboot Ageless Mask might increase your skin’s sun sensitivity, so using sunscreen daily is recommended. For me, this advice is a bit redundant, because I’m already a sunscreen addict and don’t leave the house without slathering on at least SPF30 [usually it’s 50+]. Right now, this mask is the only one I use weekly, because it replaces my weekly AHA peel, a pore-clearing clay mask, and a moisturizing mask; so why waste three products, when I can just use one and get the benefits of them all? As a side benefit, my vanity table doesn’t look quite as busy with at least three more bottles put away.

I understand that at $85, Stemology Cell Reboot Ageless Mask is a splurge, but next time you’re on a quest to “treat yo’ self”, why not invest in a good mask that really works, instead of getting yet another fancy lipstick that probably won’t get used up? Take it from your skincare girl, I know a good product when I try one, and this mask is one of the best.

I feel the same way about this mask, it was a very unexpected discovery. I was hoping to like it, but didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did.

It’s a great mask! $85 price tag will be hard to swallow when I run out, but so far I’m in love with it and can’t imagine not using it as part of my weekly pampering.

So happy to have this mask… I’m totally enjoying it and love the instant results I receive 🙂 I was surprised it didn’t cause me any sensitivities… usually I cannot use pumpkin or carrot on my face because of my sensitive skin… but this one didn’t give me any issues.

I was impressed with that as well. My skin is not overly sensitive, but it gets irritated easily by enzymes. This mask, despite containing enzymes, did not make my skin all red and itchy. Great formulation!
