Open your beauty passports, ladies, because we are going on a trip to Sydney! In September, SquareHue curated another gorgeous mini-collection of three stunning nail polishes -two microshimmers and one high gloss creme-, all inspired by this iconic city.

SquareHue Oxford Street |
The first color I tried on was Oxford Street, which is visually a beautiful antique gold with gold microshimmer. I turned the bottle a little towards the sun so you can see just how shiny it is. What an eye catcher! My main problem with microshimmers lies in my own lack of skill applying them, and very often my manicure ends up streaky. SquareHue formula is way more forgiving than what I’m used to, so I actually managed to paint my nails evenly. I always loved their brushes, too, they are just the perfect length and density for precise application.
SquareHue Crown Street |
The next color I sampled was Crown Street, best described as a true copper with gold microshimmer, and it just screams Fall and red maple leaves! You know what else is looks like? A gorgeous sunset over the ocean… I bet you can see those in Australia π Just like Oxford Street, this formula was very forgiving and didn’t give me any trouble. I applied two even coats and set them with Seche Vite, like I always do.
SquareHue King Street |
Lastly, we have King Street, a glorious deep glossy creme, sort of a mix of burgundy and oxblood, but just a tad bit lighter. This is truly The King of the collection [pun intended!], and I am totally enchanted by it. The formula is rich and pigmented, it can be applied in just one coat and still look amazing. In the swatches, I’m wearing two coats of King Street and one thin layer of Seche Vite top coat.
These colors are so pretty up close! |
I must say, the quality of SquareHue formulas never disappoints, they consistently deliver fantastic season-appropriate colors, and the inspiration board is always spot on. Just look at this list of images for the Sydney collection, isn’t it beautiful? Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better Fall box, all of the colors are something I would wear, and in fact, I’ve been wearing nothing but these three for the past few weeks, I just didn’t have the time to write this review, because as you remember, I had a very busy month, and couldn’t blog at all.
As you are reading this, the October boxes most likely have been all shipped out, and the theme for this month is Milan! And don’t forget that all SquareHue polishes are 5-free, vegan, cruelty-free, made in USA, and portions of the proceeds go to charities that help fight human trafficking.
