Ready to see my haul? I stocked up on some home necessities, and things I was running low on, like body wash and laundry detergent. As much as I adore fancy-schmancy department store body washes, I would go bankrupt if I had to buy them twice a month at $15-20 a bottle. What can I say, I looove my suds and totally overuse body wash in the shower. If bubbles aren’t flying around everywhere and I can’t pretend to be Princess Marshmallow from Cloud 9, the morning is a failure! And that’s where my drugstore faves come in…
I visited my local Meijer and bought Tone Mango Splash Moisturizing Body Wash and Tone Daily Detox White Clay & Pink Jasmine Body Wash, both of which I already used before, and also picked up Dial Coconut Water Hydrating Body Wash and Dial Greek Yogurt Vanilla Honey Moisturizing Body Wash to try. The scents are all different, so I can alternate them based on my mood that day. Tone Mango Splash and Dial Coconut Water are fresh and uplifting, perfect for those mornings when I just can’t wake up; Dial Vanilla Honey on the other hand is calming and relaxing, and sort of reminds me of an island vacation with my own private beach; the last one, White Clay & Pink Jasmine is romantic and delicate, it makes me reminisce about all the good things that happened to me this week.
In case you are curious about the detergents, it’s Purex Dirt Lift Action Linen & Lilies and Fresh Lavender Blossom. This is only my second time buying the lavender scent, but I just ran out of this very same one, and already miss its delicate fragrance. I know fragrance is pretty much all I talk about here, but this formula actually gets the stains out pretty well, too 🙂
