Exfoliation is probably my favorite weekly treatment, because it delivers instant gratification. Whether it’s chemical, physical, or enzyme – my skin always looks so smooth and healthy afterward; it’s no wonder that I have more exfoliants in my stash than any other masks. Today I wanted to introduce you to my latest discovery – Exuviance Triple Microdermabrasion Face Polish – which combines the resurfacing power of physical scrubs, chemical treatments, and enzyme peels.
Exuviance is world-famous for their innovative formulas; did you know that they were the ones who originally discovered and patented the very first glycolic peel? This time they believe they’re onto something again, and the idea behind Triple Microdermabrasion Face Polish will probably become the next big thing in skin care.
Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Glycolic Acid, Alumina, Glycerin, Hydrogenated Polydecene, Isononyl Isononanoate, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Glyceryl Stearate, Ammonium Hydroxide, Arginine, Butylene Glycol, Stearyl Alcohol, Polyacrylate-1 Crosspolymer, PEG-100 Stearate, Lactobionic Acid, Papain, Cetyl Alcohol, Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate, PEG-75 Stearate, Dehydroxanthan Gum, Ceteth-20, Steareth-20, Carbomer, Algin, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Chlorphenesin, Parfum (Fragrance), CI 19140 (Yellow 5), CI 14700 (Red 4).
This polish comes in a typical squeeze tube, and contains orange citrusy-scented paste. At first I wasn’t sure if I even got the right product, because in physical exfoliants I can usually see the grains, but in this one they are so fine, I could only feel them once the paste was on my skin. Instead of using plastic beads that were proven to be harmful to the environment, Exuviance included fine professional grade crystals instead – the kind SPAs use in real salon microdermabrasion. They are deceptively gentle, and I definitely recommend massaging the skin very carefully to avoid potential irritation and micro-scratches [Exuviance recommends the same thing, so make sure to read the instructions on the packaging].
If the crystals work on the surface level, the other two exfoliating ingredients – Papaya Enzyme and Glycolic Acid – get deep within the pores to dissolve the impurities and chemically smooth the skin even further, providing instantly brighter complexion. With regular use, Triple Microdermabrasion Face Polish will reduce the appearance of dark spots, post-acne scars, and fine lines, and make the rest of your skin care products more effective. At $72, this treatment is on a pricey side, but it’s concentrated, so you don’t need to use much. I found that a pea-sized amount is all it takes to properly exfoliate my face and neck, so if I use it once a week, the tube should last me over a year.
Do you need this? I recently posted about another multi-tasking masque, and honestly, this one is just as great, and I also recommend it. So far I have never been disappointed by Exuviance, and I feel like no matter which one of their products you choose to go with, it will always be a safe bet.
WHERE TO BUY: $72 USD for 2.6 oz. Available at Neostrata, Ulta, Dermstore.
Do you usually prefer scrubs, enzyme peels, or glycolic peels for exfoliation? Would you be interested in a product that combines all three?

I love it, too! And the collagen serum samples that came with it as extras are great as well.
I wasn’t too keen on those serum samples, they made my skin feel weird and rolled off in chunks from my face, but I did like the mini-cleanser sample and a sample of under eye patches. Those were great!
This scrub is amazing! My skin loves it.
It’s one of the best for sure, and I like that it combines benefits of physical and chemical exfoliation.
This looks like good stuff indeed!
It’s pretty nice! Very gentle and multi-tasking, what’s not to love 🙂
Ooh I need to try this! My skin needs help!
You could try reaching out to their CS, I’m sure they have samples available!
Exuviance makes such great products!
I agree! I discovered a whole bunch of favorites, and my HG peel-off mask.
Sounds like a worthy splurge!
Well, it all depends on a person’s budget of course, but I know this tube will last a very long time, over a year for sure.
I have this and am really liking it–love the scent too!
I’m glad that you are also enjoying this scrub, it’s quite fabulous!
It sounds great – I love citrus scents, and my old skin needs help sloughing off the dead cells.
In my case it’s my skin’s texture that is giving me trouble, it has this weird tendency to get bumpy for no reason, and this scrub really helps with that.
Wowo that’s a little rich for my blood, but I LOVE microdermabrasion scrubs
I agree, these high price tags can be hard to swallow.
I think I’ll benefit from this! Btw, I’m linking your Tatcha Kyoto lippy on my newsletter this weekend, it’s a new addition to my weekly blog update (Blog Love) 🙂
I got your newsletter this weekend and saw my post there, thank you so much for the love! <3 :))
I’m glad it works so well, it makes the price easier to swallow! Def one to look at!
I don’t know if I would necessarily buy an expensive product if it simply works well, I think what would make me re-purchase it is the fact that it lasts forever. And of course, we never shop without coupons 🙂
I used to use a lot of Exuviance and liked everything I tried.
I used to be a big fan of their products as well – and I still am – but you know, I’ve been on a Korean skin care kick lately. However, their peel-off mask is still my HG and I’m on my 4th or 5th tube already.
WOW – the color of this product is fun for sure. I have tried a few things from Exuviance that I like so this sounds nice.
A bright orange was certainly unexpected 🙂
$72 for something that will last over a year, and will give you good results, is a good price IMO
That’s what i thought, too. The price might look scary at first, but I took a deep breath and calculated how long it will last, suddenly it’s not too bad. And it doesn’t have plastic beads!
