[OVER] On The Dot The Perfect Spot Designer Feminine Care Storage Review and Giveaway

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

You’ve all probably seen bloggers writing about fashionable tissue boxes lately, but I want to show you today something I thought was really cute – a designer storage box for feminine care products. That’s right, On The Dot is a box with hidden compartments for all of your monthly necessities, that you can proudly display on your counter.

BRAND OVERVIEW

“The story of On The Dot began when one day a high school student Sonja left an unusual box on the floor in the bathroom. Audrey, Sonja’s mom, noticed it and had to take a look. She opened the box by pulling on the handle and found a unique inner compartment filled with tampons and pads. Audrey and her artist husband helped further develop Sonja’s original design, adding an upper drawer, lower storage compartment, a sliding feature as well as a plastic protective base and handle. Their project has gone from a box in the family bathroom to a decorative dispenser, ready to be shared with women everywhere. 10% of all On The Dot profits will go to women’s charities, worldwide.”

– from onthedotperfectspot.com

The box is made with sturdy recycled chipboard, that will not bend or break, unless a strong force is applied. To protect the box from dirt and possible moisture on the counter top, the design features a decorative plastic base.

Inside, the box is separated into two spacious compartments. The top part holds necessities that a woman might need right away by providing easy access to tampons. The lower part is quite roomy and works perfectly to store backup supplies. There is plenty of space for a box of tampons, a bag of pads, or even a roll of toilet paper. I just stuffed it with singular pads for easy access.

Just to give you an idea about the sizing, On The Dot box measures 10″ tall [sans the handle], 6.5″ wide, and 4.25″ deep.

I had On The Dot on my counter for a few weeks now and got used to it pretty quickly. It’s one of those little conveniences that make my life a little easier, and I’m really happy that I can have all of my monthly essentials out on the counter like that. So far I see no visible signs of wear, and the chipboard is holding up well.

On The Dot boxes come in three custom-made patterns: California Sister [black with bold flowers], Dreamy Duskywing [cream with floral] and Monarch [red with leopard print]. I chose Dreamy Duskywing, because the colors kind of match my bathroom walls and counter, as well as my little cake stand with perfume on it.

OK wow this is amazing. It sooooo chic. I literally thought the butterfly handle was almost like the top of a perfume. Love the way it is organized, super stylish and seriously amazing. Love Love Love. Great post.

Cute but not exactly applicable to me, anymore. I “done got spayded” (as one of my brothers so charmingly put it) years ago. 😀 I wish that they made adorable storage like this when I was using pads and tampons, tho. I’d have been all over it! 🙂

My mom used to have a little DIY box for feminine products over our toilet, this is much cuter lol!

Right now, I’m using a shoebox, so this would be awesome. Thanks for the giveaway!

That’s such a brilliant idea. I just keep them in their packets under the vanity so clearly this is a much nicer way to store them.

I so need this. I get tired of the kids asking me what the boxes are for. Ingenius really.

I just moved into a new apartment and there is absolutely NO storage in the bathroom! I’m finding it difficult to find a “discreet” place to put my “time of the month” items, so this would be absolutely perfect!
