Mint Things for Spring

Pastel mint, Tiffany blue, Statue of Liberty green, seagreen jade – no matter what you call this color, it undeniably screams “Spring”. In this post I wanted to round up a few things from my stash that represent my love for this fun hue, and also show you the newest addition to my accessory stash.

Mint things: nail polish, Kate Spade leather satchel, makeup, skin care and more...I love rocking this shade on my nails the most, there’s something so youthful, effortless, and plain happy about it! Of course it probably won’t fly in a conservative work environment, but it’s perfect for everyday wear. I have more minty hues in my polish stash, but these four are currently my favorites: Color Club Blue-Ming, RickyColor 5th Floor WalkupAlessandro Nail Polish Peppermint Patty, and Sally Hansen Jaded.

Mint things: nail polish, Kate Spade leather satchel, makeup, skin care and more...It’s not just nail polish that comes in pretty minty hues, but nail treatments, cleansers, BB creams, and facial sprays, like Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Cuticle Eraser + BalmBanila Co Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm [love this stuff!], Miyu Beauty De-Stress Mi Beauty Essence, and Too Cool For School Dinoplatz CC Cream. I forgot to include my little Tweezerman set that I carry around in my purse, which also comes in pretty mint color 😉

Mint things: nail polish, Kate Spade leather satchel, makeup, skin care and more...And finally, the recent addition to my accessory wardrobe – Kate Spade Hampton Road Janie Satchel in Aquacove. It was on sale at TJ Maxx for $149 [orig. $398], and I just couldn’t walk past it 🙂 There were also more colors available – black, white, and red, but mint clearly stood out and begged to be bought.

Mint things: nail polish, Kate Spade leather satchel, makeup, skin care and more... Mint things: nail polish, Kate Spade leather satchel, makeup, skin care and more...This purse is from a very old collection, so at this point you can probably only buy it from resellers, but if you really want to get one, I recommend checking your local TJ Maxx and Marshalls first – they actually had lots of Kate Spade goodies for sale last time I went there. Happy hunting!
