Alright, let’s wrap up these remaining Memeboxes that I have sitting under the tree. The first one in line is Rose Edition, which I bought immediately after it was released. I’m a big fan of rose-scented beauty products, so I was expecting good things from this box.
HOW IT WORKS
Memebox Global is not a typical subscription service. They periodically curate boxes filled with assorted beauty products popular among Koreans, and those Limited Edition bundles are sold on first come first serve basis. Prices vary depending on the type of the box. Memebox ships internationally, so if you are in Canada, Australia, China or anywhere in Europe, you can get your hands on one of these, too.

Kskin Bulgarian Rose UV Whitening Cream – What a lovely-looking sunscreen! it’s enriched with bulgarian rose oil, which I absolutely adore, because the fragrance has that extra bitterness to it, not present in most other types of roses.
How to use: Apply to face and neck at the end of your AM skincare routine.
It smells fantastic and feels great on the skin. I also like that it doesn’t leave white cast, commonly associated with physical sunscreens, so in that regard it really feels like a regular moisturizer. I’m looking forward to using this daily, because it seems like a really great product so far.
Rosery Premium Feminine Secret Cleanser – This is exactly what you think it is, a travel-sized bottle of a rose-scented feminine wash.
How to use: Foam the cleanser in your palms and wash the area, then rinse off with lukewarm water.
As far as I know, our private parts are like a self-cleaning oven and doesn’t require any additional cleansers, so it’s highly unlikely that I will be using this one. I don’t know what ingredients they used, and potentially developing an irritation is the last thing I want down there.
Langsre Rose Berry 70 Sleeping Pack – This mask, formulated with rose water and rose petals, is a gel-type sleeping pack that is supposed to be used as a final step of your PM beauty routine. It’s sticky and doesn’t fully absorb, but that’s just how they all are.
How to use: Apply in the PM as the last step of your skincare routine. Suitable for all skin types.
It’s not a moisturizing powerhouse as Memebox product card would make you believe, but it’s a fairly decent sleeping pack that I would probably rank as “just okay”. It feels exactly the same on the skin as Berristure, if you remember that one.
Aston Nature Organic Rose Hip Oil – This fancy-looking bottle contains one very simple product – organic rose hip oil. I think even my great grandma used it for her skin and hair. Memebox says that it has skin softening and smoothing properties, so it should work well for fine lines.
How to use: Massage into skin at the end of skincare routine. Suitable for normal, dry, sensitive, and mature skin.
If you’ve never tried a rosehip oil before, it doesn’t actually smell like roses. The fragrance reminds me of argan oil instead, it has that hint of warm nuttiness to it. The dropper makes it very easy to dispense the right amount of oil, and the tinted glass bottle will help protect the oil from sunlight. I quite like it!
Milky Dress Blooming Rose Skin Toner – Doesn’t this toner look lovely? I can’t get over the petals swimming inside, they add a touch of chic to this otherwise plain bottle.
How to use: Apply with a cotton pad or directly to the skin using your hands, and pat in for full absorbance.
Truth be told, I didn’t have a chance to try this toner yet, but I already know that it’s going to be very fragrant. When i took the bottle out of the outer box just to look at it, I noticed that despite being completely sealed, the cap smells strongly like roses. I look forward to giving it a shot some time in the near future!
Etude house My Castle Hand Cream in Forever Rose – These hand cream castles are crazy popular in Asia right now, and I’m super stoked to receive such a “hot” product. They aren’t expensive, but they always seem to be sold out.
The hand cream itself is honestly nothing special, but the packaging is absolutely adorable. The size is a bit bulky for carrying around in a purse, unless of course you have a large purse. I’m going to keep it on my nightstand and use before going to bed, so I can dream of roses 🙂
THE VERDICT
While I didn’t discover any musthaves in this box, I still thought it was very solid and well-curated. For Memebox, sticking to a theme like that is kind of rare, since they see no problem putting lemon products in Pumpkin Spice box, so this is really as good as it gets. Among everything I tried here, I think I’ll get the most use out of Kskin sunscreen, Milky Dress toner, and Etude House hand cream; and the product I will probably never use is the sample sized feminine wash.
