Since I don’t have a dotting tool, I used the rounded back of a bobby pin, and that worked quite well for me. Also, I made a mistake by painting too many layers too soon, which resulted in a few little air bubbles here and there, but they’re barely noticeable so I’ll let it slide.
I started off by adding two layers of Dermelect Ridge Filler base coat and let it dry for about five minutes, after which I layered two more coats of Zoya Madison and one coat of Sally Hansen Insta-dri top coat. Then I let that “cake” sit for about 10 minutes to make sure I don’t smudge it. For the dots, I transferred a few drops of OPI Cream of Crete to a piece of paper, then dipped the rounded end of a bobby pin in it and carefully dotted my nails, making sure the dots are the same size and perfectly round. I painted my accent nail with OPI Cream of Crete all over, and drew a heart on my ring finger with Essie Cascade Cool. I finished off the mani by applying two more coats of Sally Hansen Insta-dri top coat and let everything thoroughly dry before doing and house work. Voila, my cute spring mani is done!
Disclosure: I purchased this.
This manicure is so cute! I don’t think you need any fancy tools–a bobby pin can do a lot of things. 🙂

Thank you! 🙂
Wow! This looks very unique to me. It is more girly and delicate than I usually go for, but somehow I am in love with it.
Thank you so much! 🙂
So cute! Love the little heart detail 🙂
