Update: At this time I no longer recommend doing business with Bondi.
Some of you might have already seen the preview of this manicure on Instagram and Facebook, but here it is – my first galaxy manicure! I wanted to do it for a very long time, but I lacked the necessary dark blue base polish, so when I found out that Bondi had a BOGO sale, I rushed to buy this gorgeous deep-blue shade called Midnight Mystery.
Bondi polishes are 5-free, which puts them on the same level as Zoya and other high quality nail care brands. Midnight Mystery was a breeze to apply, it went on smoothly and dried very fast without any streaks, bubbles and smudges, while providing amazing canvas for the rest of this manicure and a fabulous glossy finish.
I’m not really qualified to give a tutorial on this, because I was learning myself and this is actually my first attempt, but basically I lightly sponged various shades of blue, pink, and nude nail colors on top of the night sky base, topped them with some glitter, and locked in with a top coat for an even and glossy finish.
I still need to clean up the edges a bit, but you get the idea. This is one of the most beautiful, and also one of the easiest nail art patterns I’ve come across!
And here’s the Instagram picture I posted, it sure looks great with all of those filters applied 😉
LOVE it
Thank you! 😀
I need this. That is all. I also need to remember to take pictures of my nails outside. Definitely having a nail party with the kids this week 🙂
(accursed apostrophe)
Weee nail party sounds like fun!
The colors definitely look brighter in the natural sunlight, I try to photograph outside as much as I can during the warmer months for that reason 🙂
Beautiful!
Thanks, Squirrel! :))
That looks gorgeous! And as always, your pictures are beautiful. 🙂
You’re too sweet, Sammi! 😉
