What’s your hair like? Mine is color treated, baby fine, frizzy, and flat, and it’s really hard to find products that don’t weigh it down. Any kind of volume is hard to achieve and even harder to keep, but three years ago Macadamia Professional Healing Oil Treatment made me fall in love for hair oils and serums, because it was the first product that actually tamed flyaways without making my hair look limp or dirty. Over the years I discovered two more favorites – Deep Repair Masque and Healing Oil Spray, which both joined the ranks of my hair care staples.
This February Macadamia Professional introduced three new curated Care & Treatment Collections, designed with specific hair textures in mind: Weightless Moisture for Baby Fine to Fine hair; Nourishing Moisture for Medium to Coarse hair, and Ultra Rich Moisture for Very Coarse to Coiled hair. Of course, you probably already know which one I got to try.
Weightless Moisture Collection is aimed to address thin, limp, and lifeless hair types [sound familiar?] and currently includes three products: Weightless Moisture Shampoo, Weightless Moisture Conditioner, and Weightless Moisture Conditioning Mist.
Both the shampoo and the conditioner contain the exclusive Pro Oil Complex that consists of Macadamia and Argan oils, rich in Omega fatty acids to repair hair; Avocado and Walnut oils to nourish the strands; and Collagen & Vitamins A, C & E to strengthen.
You know the feeling of wearing a skirt for the first time outside after a long Winter? That’s how my hair felt after using Weightless Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner: breezy, free, and… liberated? It’s like my roots were finally breathing again and I could feel the air on my scalp – very clean feeling, but no tightness or discomfort of any kind. So, if your hair is anything like mine – baby fine, flat, and limp, you might want to give these products a try, and who knows, maybe they will become your new beauty staple, like they did for me.
