My husband and I are actually going to celebrate Valentine’s Day on Monday, thanks to his pragmatic side. He thinks that the service at restaurants is slightly worse than usual, and all places are packed so there’s less privacy. He has a point though, because last year we sat next to a loud drunk couple who kept talking about some disturbing things that I don’t dare to repeat, and the waiter couldn’t do anything. I still haven’t decided where I want to go for dinner, but I’ve been craving sushi all week so it’s probably going to be one of the Japanese places in South Bend.

Lovely gift choices! I’d like the Estee Lauder lippies and the Korres Rose Sauvage Brightening Oil. We were planning to go out to dinner on Saturday night, but I have diverticulitis and can’t eat anything so we’ll be putting our celebration off for a while. Hope you enjoy your sushi on Monday! We went for our Valentine’s dinner tonight. We tried to make a reservation for a place we like for Saturday night and they had been full for weeks. Quiet is better. Instead we’ll be with our two little grandchildren while their parents have a night out.
That’s crazy that they’re so jam-packed! I live in a small town, so even the post popular venue would be pre-booked maybe for a couple of days to[s. I hope you guys enjoyed your dinner!
Hubby and I don’t do Valentine’s Day. We’ll probably end up just hanging out at home…doing laundry…and getting ready for the work week, lol!
