Ipsy Glam Bag Plus February 2022 Unboxing & Review

TGIF, besties! If you haven’t seen it on my IG reels already, here’s a quick unboxing of the February 2022 Ipsy Glam Bag Plus. I’m not going to do a long intro, so without further ado, here’s what we got this month. 😉

HOW IT WORKS:

Each month you will receive a new drawstring pouch filled with a mix of 5 full-sized beauty products customized according to your beauty profile. Ipsy Glam Bag Plus members can watch videos and play along with the stylists, all for only $25/month ($120+ value). Click here to check it out.

IN THE BAG:

1 // YENSA BEAUTY Pink Lotus Peptide Renewal Face Cream ($48) – I only recently discovered Yensa but so far I’ve been very impressed with their products. This moisturizer feels heavenly on the skin, and makes it look plump and smooth. It’s not an anti-aging powerhouse formula, but it’s loaded with peptides, antioxidants, and humectants for skin health maintenance if you are already happy with actives in your routine. 5/5

2 // FIRMA BEAUTY All in the Details Set ($24.99) – I *love* Firma brushes! I first discovered them through Ipsy a while back and they became some of the most used in my routine. They are great quality and easy to clean, which is all you need really. This trio is also great and super versatile; each of the brushes can be used for a multitude of precise tasks, from winged liner and eyeshadow work, to filling the brows and concealer. 5/5

3 // DITO MUSE – PERSEPHONE|12-Color Eyeshadow Palette ($29.99) – This is a gorgeous palette for anyone who likes smoldering, warm-toned makeup looks. The pans are pigmented and the shimmer is otherworldly, but I wish it had more matte shades. If you liked Urban Decay Naked Heat, you’ll like this one, too. 4/5

4 // BYROE Fig Renewal Oil ($72) – This year I rediscovered my love for skincare oils, and now use them every day, AM and PM. The name suggests this is a fig oil, but that’s not the case – the base is jojoba oil, with added fig extract [among other ingredients].  The consistency is runny and feels like dry oil, plus it absorbs quickly without making my face look greasy. I’ve only used this oil once so far, but my skin seems to like it. 4/5

5 // BEAUTY FOR REAL I-Line 24/7 Gel Eyeliner Duo in Night Fever + Heaven’s Door ($32) – Okay, here’s a shocker for you guys. Before trying these eyeliners, I thought it would be a product I like the least, because eyeliners are boring. However, it’s probably my second most used product from this bag, after Firma brushes, and that says a lot. The quality is simply outstanding and I can’t say enough good things about each of these pencils! They are twist-up, so no manual sharpening required; the texture is dense and firm, but soft enough to glide without tugging, and once the line sets, it won’t budge on my semi-hooded & oily lids. I am seriously so impressed! Both of these pencils are now living in my everyday makeup bag, that’s how much I enjoy using them. 5/5

BOTTOM LINE:

I am very happy with my Ipsy Plus bag this month, and especially with the brush set and the eyeliner duo. Who would have thought, right? My least used product turned out to be the eyeshadow palette, simply because these colors are too bold for me, but I still enjoy playing with it from time to time.

Which of these products would you be most interested in trying?

The value of my Ipsy February 2021 Glam Bag Plus: $206.98
