Those of you who wax regularly know that cooling the skin first makes the procedure less painful, and this cleanser works the same way. What it doesn’t remove is skin’s natural oils, which is surprising, because I would have thought that the surface needed to be pristine, but I guess it’s not necessary.
I also noticed that my skin felt tighter and smoother, although that effect was temporary. I have a hunch that it’s important for laser treatment because the laser will glide better over skin, ensuring better coverage. I currently use a different type of at-home laser device for hair removal [from a brand other than Tria], and this cleanser worked really well for that, too.
