Gillette Venus Swirl is the company’s most sophisticated women’s razor yet. It features FlexiBall technology allowing the blades cover hard to reach areas for the closest shave and the most accurate trim. Aside from the obvious tricky areas like the bikini line and armpits, this new razor is also perfect for knees and ankles. I swear, I cut myself more than a few times trying to get those little knee-hairs off in the past.
The blades also got a face lift: coated with a special MicroFine comb, they capture every hair, even baby fine ones, for the closest shave yet. Each razor blade head is also coated with MoistureGlide serum – two strips of water-activated foaming lotion that eliminate the need for shaving foam.
But if your legs are taking it extra hard this winter, like mine, you might want to try pairing your new razor with a moisturizing shaving gel, like Gillette Venus Touch of Olay. It’s five times more moisturizing than if you were shaving with a bar of soap, and actually helps deal with flakiness.
I have to say, this duo blew my current razor and a random shaving cream I’ve been using, out of the water. The closest comparison I can make is probably men’s Gillette Fusion ProGlide that features the same FlexiBall technology, which I thought was very innovative and wondered why guys always get all the cool stuff and girls don’t. But here we have it: a nifty handle with a beautiful floral design paired with the fitting royal purple color for the beauty queens we all know we are!
