Remember me raving about Farmacy coconut gel masks earlier this month? In the past couple of weeks I had the opportunity to try more of their products, and today I wanted to introduce you to Invincible Root Cell Anti-Aging Serum, the brand’s newest anti-aging solution, sold exclusively on QVC at this time.
Utilizing the brand’s signature ingredient – Echinacea GreenEnvy – this serum-meets-toner treatment is aimed to address dull, uneven complexion, and crow’s-feet in people 30 and older. However, I personally believe that we should pick our treatments not based on our age, but on the condition of our skin instead. After all, the body knows what it needs better than a generalized label on the bottle! With that said, I think my skin can definitely benefit from a product that can make it more even and radiant. After years of sporadic hormonal breakouts, I am always noticing post acne marks that were not there before.
Ingredients – CosDNA: Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Patented Echinacea Purpurea Greenenvy™ Root Extract, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Propanediol, Polysorbate 20, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Strelitzia Nicolai Seed Aril Extract, Ethylhexylglycerin, Echinacea Purpurea Extract, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Benzyl Alcohol, Melia Azadirachta Leaf Extract, Melia Azadirachta Flower Extract, Amino-Esters-1, Coccinia Indica Fruit Extract, Salicylic Acid, Solanum Muricatum Fruit Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Flower Extract, Sorbic Acid, Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root Extract, Lawsonia Inermis Extract, Ocimum Basilicum (Basil) Extract, Pearl Powder (Margarita Powder), Ocimum Sanctum Leaf Extract.
I ran a quick CosDNA analysis of the ingredients, and was pleased with what I saw. The amount of plant extracts alone is impressive, and all of them were considered safe and non-comedogenic. There is only one ingredient I was concerned about for a moment – Benzyl Alcohol [used as a preservative rather than a filler], which is on my naughty list of ingredients to avoid. However, when I say I avoid this one, I only do so if it’s listed at the top of the ingredient list as the first or second most prevalent, you know what I mean. Farmacy lists it in the middle of the list, so considering how many other plant extracts this serum contains, the percentage has to be extremely low, which would explain why I didn’t feel any irritation or tingling normally associated with alcohols in skincare.
Invincible Root Cell Anti-Aging Serum comes in an opaque bottle with a screw-on dropper cap, and a tight stopper inside – all to prevent the premature evaporation and oxidation of those precious plant extracts. While I love and appreciate a nice airtight pump, dropper packaging feels fancier to use and adds a certain je ne sais quoi to the process [a fellow blogger from fan-b calls it “skincaretainment”]. The outer box is also a stunner – after all, when was the last time you’ve seen origami packaging?
Can this serum make my skin invincible? Only time will tell, but so far I am loving the immediate skin-tightening results, even though they are temporary for now. I have high hopes, though, because clinical study subjects showed an improvement in the appearance of crow’s feet, increased skin radiance, luminosity, and evened skin tone after using Invincible Root Cell Anti-Aging Serum for just four weeks. Crow’s feet is not my concern right now, but I would sure love to get some of that youthful radiance back.
WHERE TO BUY: $65 USD for 1 fl. oz. Available at QVC.

I’m a big fan of serums at any age! I love the look of the bottle, and I’ve been dying to try some products from Farmacy. This sounds like a winner!
I love serums. I have been a big fan of glycolic acid products lately.
Honestly, I don’t use any anti-aging products. Not a big fan of serums because I really haven’t found one that did what it said it would. This one sounds promising though.
I love when results happen so quickly. I’m much more inclined to keep up with it!
I love that it comes in a dropper bottle. It makes it so much easier to use. Nice research with that COSDNA.
I love the packaging!
I have not tried this brand. The packaging is so chic!
I love the packaging of this. It sounds so interesting.
I’ve never heard to this brand, the packaging is classy!
This stuff looks pretty spectacular 😀
I like the idea of serum-slash-toner. Must try
You’re spot on about picking skincare based on skin condition rather than age! A serum-and-toner-in-1 is a great idea.
This looks like a serum that would really benefit my skin. Definitely will look into this brand. Thanks for the information!
I’ve been seeing this brand pop up more and more in Sephora… and I’ve got a gift card burning in my pocket… hmmm
I’ll have to check this out next time I’m in Sephora!
