HASK brand was put on my radar by fellow bloggers when they reviewed some of their products last year. I remember reading those reviews thinking that there’s just no way a hair care line can be this good. Later I happened to try a few samples via several subscription boxes, and realized that I’ve been missing out!
Not only did I purchase one of their products after trying a sample [I’ll tell you which one later in the review], I was this close to placing a fairly large order for shampoo & conditioner. Luckily, HASK team was kind enough to send over a complete Argan Oil Repairing Hair Care Collection for me to experience.
My package included Argan Oil Repairing Shampoo, Argan Oil Repairing Conditioner, Argan Oil Repairing Deep Conditioner, and Argan Oil Shine Treatment, which all came in a cute drawstring bag with a booklet, giving the details on each of the products.
Argan Oil Repairing Shampoo is formulated with argan oil that penetrates the hair shaft to strengthen and restore shine to dry, dull hair. Free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, alcohol, and artificial colorants, this is one of the gentlest cleansers that touched my hair in recent years. While there are many amazing shampoos on the market right now, and I can’t say Argan Oil Repairing Shampoo is the best of the best, it’s definitely in my personal Top 10. I feel like
Argan Oil Repairing Conditioner is another product I was ecstatic about trying, after all I almost bought it! It turned out to be an awesome detangler, and I could brush through my hair with ease. HASK says it leaves even “the most rebellious hair frizz-free, silky-soft and super glossy”, and I definitely experienced all that. Plus, it smells amazing! 🙂
Ta-da! Argan Oil Repairing Deep Conditioner is the product I actually re-purchased after sampling it in Beauty Box 5! I bought several packs of these and used them once every other week. It’s one of the best hair masques I’ve found, and they are affordable, too. This deep conditioner makes my hair feel soft as silk and even nourishes the scalp, moisturizing the skin and making it less itchy.
And finally, even though this small vial of Argan Oil Shine Treatment looks like a sample, it’s actually a full-sized product, because the formula is ultra-concentrated. For my long fine hair even a drop is already too much! I rub a little bit of this treatment between my palms and run it through damp hair, focusing on any dry and and frizzy areas. After I started using some really great hair care in the past few months my frizz actually diminished tenfold, but I still use serums like this one occasionally. The shine from this one is unbelievable!
Overall, I have to say that I love all of the mentioned products, and feel confident enough to recommend all four. I particularly want to single out the shampoo, because this formulation is extremely gentle, so it can be safely used for washing color-treated hair. And I’ll definitely be back for more deep treatment packettes!
