My long time readers already know that I always think highly of Exuviance products. After all, it’s all thanks to their potent AHA formulations that I was able to achieve the skin I have today and get rid of most of my post-acne marks left over from teenage years. Today I am thrilled to introduce you to the brand’s newest creation – Exuviance Pigment Lifting Masque [$65 at Exuviance.com].
Now that I have breakouts and fine lines under control, skin brightening is currently my #1 concern, so most of my skincare addresses it one way or another. Sheet masks are part of my routine, too, and I usually use them every other day. Most of them are just your usual dollar variety, with an occasional hydrogel deep treatment once a week. So as you can see, Exuviance Pigment Lifting Masque fit right in with the rest of the brightening crowd!
This lift-off masque is formulated with concentrated brighteners to diminish the look of dark spots for a more even tone, leaving skin looking luminous and cushioned with moisture. – Exuviance
Exuviance Pigment Lifting Masque utilizes two potent skin brighteners: Vitamin C, that also works as an antioxidant, and patented NeoGlucosamine®, that lifts the pigment and gently exfoliates dead skin cells for a more even surface. In addition to brighteners, the serum contains moisturizers that will keep the skin looking fresh and supple after the treatment.
I was really excited about these new masks, so naturally I decided to use one as soon as I got them in the mail. The first thing I always check is the material the sheet is made of, and these are marked as paper masks. One thing I noticed after dealing with other paper masks is that they don’t stick to the skin as well as any other mask type. However, due to the nature of paper, they usually soak up the most essence and are very saturated with active ingredients. Because of that, I had a hard time making Exuviance Pigment Lifting Masque stick to my face and constantly had to readjust it throughout the entire 10 minutes of treatment. Lack of moisture was my only complaint about these, and I loved the result so much I could forgive the dryness of the mask. After my 10 minutes were up, I removed the mask to take a closer look at my skin. It was bright, plump, and had a little bit of an oily residue left over. There was no irritation whatsoever, just soft and healthy-looking complexion!
Like with most sheet masks, you should treat that leftover residue as skin care and massage it in like a serum. I also topped it with some night cream, because I did my treatment in the evening right before going to bed.
It’s worth mentioning that the masks are unscented, which might be a deal breaker for some. I certainly appreciate that the brand decided not to add any extra irritants, like chemical fragrances. Each box comes with 6 individually packaged sheet masks. The packets are airtight and light-proof, ensuring the maximum efficacy of the serum inside. Exuviance recommends using them weekly, so one box should last just over a month.
IMPORTANT: Whenever you exfoliate your skin don’t forget to use products with SPF, or the effect will be the exact opposite. I already have a habit of wearing SPF30 indoors and SPF50 outdoors regardless of the season and weather conditions, and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made for my skin. Exuviance has a fantastic lightweight non-greasy sunscreen that I carry in my purse at all times!
WHERE TO BUY: $65 USD for 6 masks. Available at Neostrata, Ulta.

I want to try these masques! They sound amazing.
It worked really well for me, but I wish there was more essence in those packets 🙂
I love that they are unscented. That makes it a deal maker not killer.
Yep, that was a great feature! I just tested another Exuviance product, which was also unscented. Both are winners!
I am intrigued to try these masks!
I know the feeling! I was very excited to find out that Exuviance came out with sheet masks, and they didn’t disappoint! I only wish they were a tad more moist so they can adhere to the skin better, but can’t argue with the results 🙂
These sound familiar. I’m wondering if I have some & put them somewhere. You definitely piqued my interest so I’m gonna look for them
Great! Would be fun to compare our experiences 🙂
I’m intrigued! I’ve been on a face mask kick lately!
Masks are awesome! I have a stash that can probably last years 🙂
Lightening my brown spots is a real concern for me, maybe these masks could help?
I think they might? NeoGlucosamine products are a novelty in my routine, but I think I am seeing results.
Good to know.
I love your mask selfie 🙂
Haha, thanks!
Mask selfie! lol. I love masks. I’m trying a new-to-me Exuviance product, too – the Bionic Tonic pads. I’m liking it so far!
Mask selfies are the best! :))
