DermOrganic Skin Care Review

Even though I always thought highly of DermOrganic hair care products, I have never experienced their skin care line. Why? I’m not entirely sure, but that mistake was recently corrected when I tried Soapless Facial Cleanser, Daily Moisture Renewal Facial Moisturizer, Hand & Body Moisture Lotion and Pure Argan Oil.

Soapless Facial Cleanser

I’ve been using these products on and off for about two months now, with the longest consecutive streak of three weeks, and they have consistently performed well on my combination skin. I started the routine by applying 2-3 pumps of Soapless Facial Cleanser and gently massaging it into my skin with wet hands for at least 30 seconds. This soapless formula feels like a lotion rather than a cleanser; it doesn’t foam at all and feels very creamy, but don’t worry about clogging the pores, it will wash off well, leaving the skin almost crispy clean. I would recommend using this cleanser in the AM or as part of your makeup removing routine in the PM. I don’t think it’s strong enough to properly remove all traces of makeup, but it’s a good finisher if you are a fan of double cleansing. I personally used oil cleanser first, followed by Soapless Facial Cleanser to achieve the best results.

Daily Moisture Renewal Facial Moisturizer

After giving my skin proper cleansing it’s always a good idea to moisturize right away, so I followed up with Daily Moisture Renewal Facial Moisturizer. Ladies with combination and oily skin types rejoice, this might be The One for you! It has a very lightweight formula, and one pump was enough to cover my whole face, so a little will go a long way. When the formula absorbed, it left my skin feeling a little tight but very soft and moisturized, I didn’t know those two were even possible together, but they are.

Pure Argan Oil

If your skin actually needs some oil, you could still make this moisturizer work for you by applying a serum underneath. DermOrganic recommends their 100% natural Pure Argan Oil. To use it as a facial serum, dispense one pump on damp hands, rub them together and gently press them into damp face until the oil absorbs; after that, apply the moisturizer as usual for that wonderful healthy glow. Argan Oil is a universal beauty multi-tasker that can be used to nourish and soften any part of the body, and even as an oil substitute for cooking. I prefer using it to tame my frizzy hair by spreading 2-3 pumps from roots to ends. You can also mix a few drops into your moisturizer or body lotion for added nourishment, but if you use it on its own, make sure that whatever part you apply it to is a little damp [better yet, soaking wet] to help the oil spread better.

Hand & Body Moisture Lotion

And last but not least, I also got to sample Hand & Body Moisture Lotion. It has a pleasant lightweight formula that is perfect for daily use. It’s the kind of lotion that won’t make you feel oily all over, instead it absorbs quickly, leaving the skin soft, matte, and a little powdery. I prefer richer formulas for the nighttime both for my hands and body, but this is now my lotion of choice for the daytime. This is an especially good pick for the summertime, because I could always use more moisture without the heaviness.

DermOrganic Skincare – these products come in pump bottles.

As you noticed, everything comes in pump bottles just the way I like it. It’s the second most sanitary way of  using products [after single-dose capsules], and definitely my favorite. DermOrganic products are unscented, vegan, cruelty-free, oil-free [except that Argan Oil, of course], paraben-free, and contain no artificial preservatives and other nasty chemicals. It’s a good skin care line for people who want to simplify their routine but still use gentle and effective products. These products are also something I could recommend for the entire family, from teens to adults, because these formulas are gender-neutral and work for most skin types and concerns.

PRICE & AVAILABILITY
Soapless Facial Cleanser – $20 USD for 8.5 fl. oz. Available at DermOrganic.
Daily Moisture Renewal Facial Moisturizer – $20 USD for 3.4 fl. oz. Available at DermOrganic.
Pure Argan Oil – $36 USD for 1.7 fl. oz. Available at Ulta, DermOrganic.
Hand & Body Moisture Lotion – $20 USD for 12 fl. oz. Available at DermOrganic.

I also recommend to try their hair care. I’m now on my third set of salon-sized Shampoo & Conditioner, and will continue buying them until DermOrganic discontinues the line. You could buy a set of six travel-sized samples with their skincare and hair care bestsellers here for $20.

Have you tried any DermOrganic products before?

I have this line but haven’t used it yet (waiting to use up what I have). I’m curious to see how it will all work out. I’m sad to hear the cleanser doesn’t remove all makeup.

I’ve used the moisturizer and I’m a big fan of their hair care line. If I wasn’t on a prescription skin care routine, I’d totally pick these up.
