Butterflies at Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History

I feel like the Lifestyle section of my blog was feeling lonely and abandoned lately, so I thought I’d add a few posts to liven things up a bit. On my recent trip to NYC/DC we stopped by Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History to see the famous Hope Diamond. After swooning over the beauty of that rock, I noticed they also have a small butterfly garden, and I just had to take a peek.

Did you know that most butterfly species live around two weeks in their adult stage? That’s a bit sad, isn’t it?

When was the last time you went to a museum or a zoo?
