Boxycharm by Ipsy March 2024 Unboxing & Review
I often share my thoughts on Ipsy Glam bags and rarely mention my Boxycharm subscription, but this time I just had to write a dedicated post. Let’s take a closer peek at the March box that invited everyone to feel confident and empowered, and included 5 full-sized beauty products from woman-owned and woman-started brands. After all, March in the US is the official Women’s History month, and we also celebrate International Women’s Day on the 8th.
HOW IT WORKS:
Each month as Boxycharm by Ipsy subscriber you will receive a new box with a mix of 5 full-sized beauty products customized according to your beauty profile. Members can watch videos and play along with the stylists, all for only $28/month ($200+ value). Click here to check it out.
IN THE BOX:
Evereden Premium Mineral Sunscreen SPF50 ($29) – As a daily sunscreen wearer, I’m always running out. Perfect timing on this one, Ipsy! I actually tried this physical sunscreen before but didn’t remember if I liked it or not, so it was fun to rediscover it again. It has a light milky texture which makes it easy to spread on the skin, but because it contains a high concentration of Zinc oxide, it might leave a slight pinkish residue on darker skin tones, especially if you use the recommended daily amount – 1 tsp for face and neck.
Defiance Beauty Infinity Liquid Eyeliner Enigma ($22) – Fine tip and ultra black tint won me over at first, but it’s the ungodly staying power that got me swooning. The application is kind of messy and takes some getting used to, but once it sets, it stays on until the end of times even on the oiliest of eyelids.
Aceology Berry Glaze Overnight Lip Mask ($19) – Did I need another lip mask? No. Was I excited to receive it anyway? Yes! I got into the habit of using a lip mask every night so I’m actually burning through them at a fast pace, so I’m always excited to get more in beauty boxes. This particular mask smells like berries and feels like Vaseline but lighter, and definitely stays on through the night.
Wander Beauty Trailblazer Eyeshadow Palette ($42) – I’m more of an eyeshadow singles girlie these days but I couldn’t help but feel excited about this palette. Most of the shades are pretty similar to the ones I already own, but those rightmost two olives are absolute stunners and I just can’t stop staring at them. The formula is so good, too! I had other Wander Beauty palettes over the years and they never disappoint. Underrated brand in my opinion.
Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream ($94) – I’ve sang serenades to this cult favorite moisturizer for years, and featured it many times on this blog and all over my social media channels. Also, can we just appreciate how we could get three whole Boxycharm boxes for the price of this one bottle? Such a treat!
BOTTOM LINE:
This was probably my favorite Boxycharm box ever! Each product felt like a thoughtful gift and everything worked perfectly for my specific preferences, whether it’s skincare or makeup. I loved every single one these items, which rarely happens with mystery boxes. The total box value this month was a whopping $206, that’s like what, over 7 times as much as the box cost? Super happy with this one and I wish every month felt like this one did. 🙂
What do you think about the March Boxycharm box? Which of these products would you be more excited to receive?
