I already wrote about Biotta Carrot Juice last month, so if you saw that blog post, you probably aren’t surprised at all to see this one. Long story short, Biotta reignited my love for pure vegetable juices. These bottles full of delicious, nutrient-dense natural goodness have become new staples in my pantry over the course of the past few weeks. As I embark on [yet another] weight loss journey, I took an effort to replace sugary drinks with plain water and vegetable juices to subdue the cravings.
Anyone who has ever attempted a strict diet or committed to eating healthier food knows how challenging it can be to completely revamp your lifestyle choices. The body is accustomed to a certain schedule, and to drinks and snacks that might not be the best choice for you. Just earlier today I was making sandwiches for my husband and it was incredibly hard to resist making one for myself. Not that there’s anything wrong with sandwiches, but they aren’t supposed to be a part of my current 28-day meal plan. I also had to exclude tea and coffee, because this is a caffeine-free diet, which is probably the hardest part for me as I am a big time tea drinker.
Currently there are two Biotta juices that help tackle those cravings: Carrot Juice and Beet Juice. Both carrots and beets have a tendency to be a little sweet, so I came up with two ways to really enjoy them. First of all, I love making them into popsicles! I got these little plastic ice cream molds that I pour some juice into, so a few hours later I can enjoy a delicious guilt-free snack. I also love serving both juices in tall glasses on the rocks with lots of ice, a splash of natural sweetener, such as Stevia, and some mint leaves. Both are super refreshing on a hot summer day!
With enough sweetener, chilled beet juice tastes absolutely incredible and reminds me of a fruit punch, and carrot juice is one of my all-time favorite vegetable drinks.
If you are a fan of vegetable juices and would like to add them to your daily routine, check your local health store or visit Biotta website for more information.

I haven’t tried them, but I love both beets and carrots so I should give them a try. Thanks for the reminder about making popsicles. I want to try some with cherry juice
I have both of these at home– they’re delicious and nutritious!
Popsicles are a great idea! I’m a huge tea drinker too, but I ususally drink herbal tea that is decaffinated.
You make me feel bad that I’m the world’s pickiest eater.
This sounds so good!
I’m all about fruit juices but I could see incorporating veggie juices into smoothies!
I like blends with carrot juice – I can totally see mixing that with some fresh watermelon. Making popsicles is a great idea for this crazy hot weather, too.
I like carrot, kale and spinach mixed with whatever fruits I have. I think I will enjoy this
The posicles are a great idea! So is adding Stevia. and mint.. great ideas. I read every comment to see if there were other suggestions or recipies, too.
I love the idea of making these into popsicles! Good luck on your weight loss journey, you already look great!
