I don’t know what’s the deal with me and Le Metier de Beaute Vault VIP lately. I love mose of their products, but at the same time I didn’t feel like reviewing my January and February boxes at all. Considering that I spent most of February battling migraines and most of January catching up on Memebox reviews, it sure feels like I didn’t write about anything just for fun. That’s what Vault VIP is for me – a fun and pleasant experience, a monthly indulgence that I always look forward to.

Le Metier de Beaute Vault VIP January, February Box Review, Unboxing, Discount Codes, blush, lmdb, romeo & julietIn the month of January, Le Metier de Beaute sent us a small blush and a Kabuki brush. Even though they said it’s a blush, I have a feeling that it’s actually one of their True Color Eye Shadow singles in this universal mauve shade that can be used for eyes and cheeks [the color looks kinda similar to Milan]. After all, it’s all the same pigments anyway, right?

I think the brush I got back then might have been defective because it kept shedding before I even used it, but I eventually started carrying it around in my purse for midday touchups. After a while the shedding stopped, and it became one of my favorite tools. Since I already have one of these, I might gift this brush to my sister.

The blush/eye shadow felt a bit dry on the skin, and worked better as an eye shadow than a blush. It’s a brownish mauve with subtle sheen that I enjoy wearing as an all-over wash of color on my lids.

Le Metier de Beaute Vault VIP January, February Box Review, Unboxing, Discount Codes, blush, lmdb, romeo & julietIn February, Vault VIP subscribers got a gorgeous full-sized Blushing Bronzed Duet in Romeo & Juliet – a stunning duo of cool shimmery rosy blush and warm rusty terracotta bronzer, that can be worn alone or swirled together to create sun-kissed glow.

Le Metier de Beaute Vault VIP January, February Box Review, Unboxing, Discount Codes, blush, lmdb, romeo & julietI think both of these are on the sheer side, which is great for people with fair to medium skin, because the color is so buildable. I am wearing the bronzer on my cheeks today, and it looks very natural!

Le Metier de Beaute Vault VIP January, February Box Review, Unboxing, Discount Codes, blush, lmdb, romeo & julietTHE VERDICT: Le Metier de Beaute delighted us once again with these generous gifts. I still have a hard time believing that this subscription is costing me only $29/month, but I am getting times and times more in value. Out of these three products, I am using the bronzer from Romeo & Juliet duo the most, because this warm hue looks really good with my fair olive complexion. It gives my cheeks definition and healthy glow, without having to bake in the sun or apply fake tanners.

What is your favorite bronzer these days? Have you tried any LMdB products before?

Aww, I’m sorry to hear about the migraines. I know how awful they can be, I hope you were able to get them under control. That Romeo and Juliet duo looks so beautiful!

Aw you are so kind! I just started taking some new medicine, and hopefully it’s better than my previous one for dealing with migraines. I agree, Romeo & Juliet are so lovely! They also look very pretty when swirled together, but I goofed and forgot to include that swatch.
