1 // Innisfree The Minimum Sun Cream for Sensitive Skin [$11, available here] – Hypoallergenic, non-irritating, and 98% natural, this physical sunscreen is perfect for all skin types, not just the sensitive. When I found out a Korean sunscreen will be in the July box, it was a no-brainer which one to pick! Innisfree is one of my favorite high street kbeauty brands, I currently use several products from their Volcanic Jeju line, and this sunscreen is the perfect addition to my collection. I apply SPF daily so I run out of it faster than the rest of my skincare, and an extra tube definitely helps. The formula is velvety smooth and absorbs well after some gentle smudging and patting. Korean sunscreens are really next level, you guys, the texture and the overall ingredients are so sophisticated that you could wear them as regular moisturizers, because they don’t leave white cast. Basically, I am very happy with this one!
2 // A’pieu Fresh Mate Tea Tree Sleeping Mask Calming [$5.88, available here] – Tea tree is the perfect ingredient for troubled skin. It helps soothe any redness, irritations, and has antimicrobial and astringent properties to regulate oil production and combat existing breakouts. I’ve been incorporating tea tree products in my routine for several years now and I feel like they really made a difference. My favorite is of course LJH Tea Tree 90 Essence, but this sleeping gel-mask is also pretty amazing. It makes my face feel instantly cooler, and hydrates the skin overnight without the stickiness. Another winner so far!
3 // Skinfood Egg White Peel-Off Nose Pack [$7, available here] – I’ll start with a little disclaimer here and say that these peel off patches are generally not recommend for any skin type because they remove too much stuff from the pores. Some people even claim they developed permanent scars that look like giant enlarged pores. However, I personally still use these occasionally and find them oddly satisfying. Skinfood patches are as good as my faves from Biore, they pulled out a lot of gunk from my nose area and made it look clean like those ladies from skincare commercials. 🙂
4 // Skinfood Egg White Nose Cool Down Pack [$7, available here] – Blackhead removal is always accompanied by irritation and redness, so Skinfood introduced these unique hydrogel patches to soothe and hydrate that sensitive skin. These stick on like bandaids and stay put until you remove them. I used one right after a nose patch and it definitely made a difference.
5 // Etude House Missing U Hand Cream Panda [$6.79, available here] – Missing U project is part of Etude House initiative to raise awareness and protect endangered species. For each hand cream sold part of the proceeds goes to that animal’s conservation charity fund. But these adorable hand cream are more than just a pretty face! Each cute jar is packed with natural botanical extracts, olive oil, and shea butter to deeply hydrate and nourish the hands.
6 // RE:CIPE Golden Snail 3D Mask [$3.50, available in Korea] – Sheet masks are always welcome, and this one looked really interesting too. Re:cipe makes amazing cleansers so I was looking forward to loving the mask as well. This 3D sheet is designed to provide close fit so the mask doesn’t slide around the face all the time. The formula contains golden snail essence and ginseng to brighten, and hydrate the skin. Unfortunately, the fit was way off for my face and I ended up having to adjust it all the time, but the results were great. My face delt hydrated and had a healthy radiant glow!
BOTTOM LINE:
I think this was a killer box with some really awesome products! I am totally in love with the sunscreen, the adorable hand cream, and of course the sleeping pack. I also enjoyed trying the soothing nose patches and will probably purchase more because I use nose strips regularly. Jini Beauty pleasantly surprised me with the variety of products and the careful curation of boxes for all skin types. Each box comes with a product card describing every item in detail and suggestions on how to use them. Full ingredient lists are available here, so you always know what’s in that cream you loved. Jini Beauty recommends patch testing everything before you put it on your face to minimize the risk of irritation and allergic reactions. So thoughtful!
