Zoya London Swatches and Review

It’s no secret that Zoya is one of my favorite nail polish brands, because their formulas seem to agree with my nails, so I get at least 5 days of chip-free wear with most of their products. I especially like the Pixie Dust collection, even though I’m kind of over the whole textured mani thing. London is one of the first textured polishes I bought when it first became popular, but I haven’t worn it as much as I would have liked.

London was released as part of the original Pixie Dust collection in early Spring of 2013. Here’s the shade description from Zoya website:

“Zoya Nail Polish in London can be best described as a fog gray with a sugared sparkle, in the exclusive Zoya PixieDust Matte Sparkle formula.”

I thought that London wasn’t as shiny as some of its peers from the same collection, but that’s what makes it different. The color is basically a warm medium gray with very fine silver glitter, and it takes two thin coats for full opacity. I think London is very appropriate for Fall/Winter season, and some beauty editors even say that gray is now considered to be the new neutral. What do you think about that?

Zoya recommends applying Pixie Dust polishes on bare nails for the best effect [using base coat will increase the drying time considerably], and remove as you would any normal glitter. At the time of this post there is no known dupe for this shade.

All Zoya polishes are free from formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, toluene and DBP.
