The main reason I love this company so much is because the owner, Cord Coen, suffers from scent-sensitivity just like I do, so he strives to create “migraine-free” fragrances that even people like us fill find pleasant and non-irritating; he constantly tests his blends on himself, his friends and family. If any scent ever causes a reaction it doesn’t make it into the line, which is why I believe that a company with such dedication and attention to the smallest details deserves to be called a luxe skincare brand. Now I have ten fabulous fragrances to choose from and I can be confident they won’t give me a headache or bother anyone close to me while I’m wearing them. All Zents fragrances are cruelty free and never contain phtalates, sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate, propylene glycol and parabens.

Mandarin
Mandarin was my personal #1 pick because I’m in love with citrusy notes and because I was familiar with this particular Zents fragrance from sampling it via Yuzen in the form of bath salts. I have countless bottles of orange zest body butters, lemon cuticle oil and lemongrass candles, so this one was destined to become my favorite. This super fun and lively blend is what I use every day whenever I need a pick me up. It immediately improves my mood and instantly makes me feel happier. If I ever wanted to try every product Zents has to offer I would definitely pick the Mandarin line.
Petal
I was a bit wary of this blend at first mainly because of the lily of the valley note which by itself is a very strong scent that can be overpowering. However it is beautifully balanced in this particular mix and does not cause me any problems. This is a very sensual perfume which I found to be perfect for a date night. It’s exactly what I have in mind when I think of a great ultra-floral fragrance, and since most of my friends prefer this exact type of perfume Petal is now my #1 recommendation to them.
Pear
Very light and feminine, this perfume became my favorite daytime fragrance. I always keep it in my purse for “touch ups” and the best part is no matter how much I spritz it on, it never seems like it’s “too much”. It layers well no matter if I spray it on my bare skin, my hair or my clothes. Before trying this perfume I never realized how much I like the smell of pears, and now I feel like I’ve always loved it.
The verdict: Well, these three scents above is all I have tried so far, and I will make another post or two when I get to try more. So far I have been very impressed with the formulas and the presentation of Zents products and it is a brand I would genuinely recommend to my friends and family, especially people with scent sensitivities like myself.
