Not everyone lives within a reasonable driving distance from a department store, so when it comes to shopping for designer perfume, the only choice for me is usually to buy them online and hope that my package doesn’t arrive shattered to pieces. I was so surprised to find out that Walmart carries a wide range of well-known department store fragrances; I mean literally the name brands you all know and love and not “imitations” that are sold at most drugstores.
The whole rack looked very impressive, and I wasn’t quite sure what to buy; thank goodness there were plenty of scratch and sniff testers [is that new? I don’t remember there being fragrance testers at Walmart before]. After trying a few scents, I narrowed it down to Wonderstruck Enchanted by Taylor Swift. I don’t care for her music, but I think as a person Taylor is so sweet and down to earth, and absolutely adorable. There’s also a Fall Savings fragrance event going on right now, and some bottles had $3 off coupons attached to them, so I took advantage of that offer, making the already low price even lower 🙂
The first thing you see when you take the bottle out of the box is a stunning red holographic coating topped with the gorgeous golden cap. I’m so obsessed with it, I wonder if there’s a company that makes a holo nail polish in that color, I would totally buy it in a heartbeat. The fragrance itself is just as mesmerizing as the bottle it comes in. This oriental gourmand scent was created by IFF perfumers Loc Dong and Jean-Marc Chaillan, who are responsible for making many famous high end customer favorites, such as Calvin Klein Euphoria, Hugo Boss Baldessarini, Giorgio Armani Aqua di Gioia, Oscar de la Renta Live in Love and many more.
With such distinguished creators, my expectations were set pretty high, and I was not disappointed. Even the names of these ingredients sound fancy and sophisticated! The mix opens up with notes of wild berries, poppies and passion fruit; the heart notes include peony blossoms, sugar-glazed champaca petals and white freesia; and finally, the perfume’s found is showcasing white musk, vanilla and blonde woods. Fragrances are tricky, because they never smell the same on two different people, and with my skin chemistry vanilla and berry notes really stood out above all other notes throughout the whole day, while the rest of the them kept changing depending on the temperature and the humidity.
Personally, I think Wonderstruck Enchanted is a Fall/Winter fragrance, because the notes remind me of traditional seasonal blends. Depending on how it collaborates with each individual’s body chemistry, it can work both as a day and night perfume, which makes it one of the most versatile scents I currently own.
FUN FACT
In 2013 Wonderstruck Enchanted became the winner of a prestigious Fragrance Foundation Award in Fragrance Celebrity of the Year nomination.
THE VERDICT
Not only does this pretty bottle make a beautiful addition to my perfume collection, it was also very affordable, thanks to Walmart’s everyday low prices. I never really explored their fragrance aisle before, but now I think I will be visiting it more often, especially around the holidays to treat myself, as well as my friends and family.

I own wonderstuck, enchanted older sister. I am so in love with winderstuck, scent and bottle. I swear I said the same thing you said about enchated bottle about wonderstuck.
You make this sound like it smells so good, I might have to stop by walmart to give it a sniff!!!
If you like the original Wonderstruck, I think you’re going to like Enchanted, too. It smells like the first one, with more added berries, which is perfect for fall 🙂
I love love this perfume! I got it recently and it’s amazing. The original wonderstruck is great too, I got it at the same time, but it’s less wintery. That’s cool your walmart has scratch and sniff!

I was surprised at how popular it was, I think there were only a couple boxes left on the shelf. After I scratch & sniffed it, I totally get why!
I’ve been wanting to try this scent for so long

You should check your local Walmart for those scratch & sniff testers 🙂
I bought a rollerball of wondersrruck since after smelling both at sephora the original one didnt make me sneeze while the enchanted version makes me sneeze within seconds. Almost bought her new Taylor scent but liked wonderstruck more
Ouch, you must be sensitive to one (or more) of those extra ingredients, but I’m glad that you can still wear the original Wonderstruck – it’s such a lovely fragrance.
