Weekly Favorites #3

Where has my week gone? I swear, I was just sitting right here writing a Favorites post, and now it’s time for another one. Crazy! This week there were a few products that I used before, then stopped for a while, and now added back into my rotation, as well as a few things that are brand new. Here’s what I’m loving lately!

Le Metier de Beaute Dual Action Makeup Remover – As I predicted, this dual-phase makeup remover made it to my favorites list again this week. It’s super gentle on the eyes, and makes even waterproof makeup dissolve without me having to rub my eyes to get it all off. As you can see, I’m slowly running out, so I ordered a similar one from Erno Lazslo, since LMdB doesn’t sell these individually [it’s exclusive for their counter MUAs]. Before you say anything, no I’m not crazy, and I didn’t actually pay over $50 for a bottle of makeup remover! I spotted it on sale on Hautelook a few weeks ago and grabbed it for only $15 a pop. Considering how long these things last me, I think it’s a pretty good deal for a gentle and effective makeup remover, wouldn’t you agree?

TATCHA Ageless Revitalizing Eye Cream – Took a little break from this eye cream, but now I’m back to using it again. I like that it’s not sticky or greasy, so I can use it during the day even when it’s hot outside, without feeling like my eye area looks oily.

Revlon ColorStay Moisture Stain in London Posh – Using this lip gloss almost every day since I featured it in my Summer makeup post. It’s really wonderful! If you haven’t tried it yet, you really should.

LUSH The Kiss Lip Balm – I really love this lip balm, except for the fact that it comes in a jar. I had it since February so you can imagine how contaminated it must be right now. I’m thinking of giving it one last run for a couple weeks and then toss it. Can’t wait for February to buy another one, this stuff’s good to my lips!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Beauty Express For Brows and Eyes – One of my most recent purchases that quickly transitioned into HG status. I couldn’t decide between a full palette and a small duo, so I just grabbed the former since the price difference wasn’t that huge. I especially like the stencils in this set, they help create perfect brows in seconds.

Pure Smile Hydro Gel Choosy Fruit – Fabulous lip mask! I received two of these in a Memebox that I will be featuring later this week, and I seriously wish I had more so I could use them at least once a week. It’s the only lip mask I tried so I don’t know how it compares to others [like that Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask for example], but it worked really well for me.

Hourglass Cosmetics Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light – As if I didn’t sing enough praises for this baby, here is yet another reminder that this amazing powder was one of the best purchases of the year for me. I seriously use it almost every day!

Physicians Formula Bronze Booster Glow-Boosting Airbrushing Veil Deluxe Edition – I know some folks don’t care much for Physicians Formula because their products are on the more expensive end of drugstore cosmetics, but I buy their stuff regularly and actually like it a lot. This bronzer for example is perfect for my pale skin [you all know how Casper-pale I am, right?], and it looks and feels like a much more expensive product. I will be posting a full review soon, maybe even this week if I manage to write it in time.

Le Metier de Beaute Kabuki Brush – I like the compact size of this brush and that it comes in a tiny pouch, so it’s really easy to carry around in my purse without making a mess. It’s made with natural goat hair, so it’s not very soft, but it works well for bronzers and blushes.
