Ipsy started releasing the spoilers for the August 2013 GlamBag. This little collaboration is for those of us who love guessing what we will receive in our bags before they are even shipped out. Some items are confirmed for sure, others we’re yet to find out. I will keep adding more spoilers and guesses to what they are as soon as they become available.

Looks like we will get five products in our Glam Bags, and one of them is potentially an Urban Decay lipstick! I say “potentially” because sounds like not everyone will get one, but if your beauty profile reflects your love for lip products, you probably have higher chances of getting one 🙂 Good luck!

Well, we already know that the lipsticks are UD, but some of you might not know the brand of the lip balm. No worries, ladies, we have it all figured out! The mystery lip balm is none other than Noya lip balms. I can already see people being upset if they get a $4 lip balm over an UD lipstick 🙁

Here’s another official Ipsy spoiler. I must say, I really like the whole purple-sparkle theme going on, and I hope that our makeup bags look like that 🙂 If they do, this might be my favorite bag since I became a subscriber.

Now to the products. We can see two tubes, one of which looks exactly like Michael Todd True Organics Jojoba Scrub (actually, this has been confirmed via Michael Todd), and the black tube is Michael Todd facial mask, just not sure which one because they all look the same.

After checking out some reviews online, it seems like for the most part people are not happy with this mascara, the main problem it being very hard to take off without damaging your lashes. Sounds scary, as I don’t have lush lashes to begin with! If I get it I think I’ll just give it away.

The product above is a cheek stain by City Color, and the company even has a page called “Sugust Ipsy Cheek Stain”. Michelle Phan also used it in her latest YouTube video, so there’s another reason to believe that we’ll have these in our bags.
Spoiler #6:
This is an official Ipsy spoiler. All subscribers will receive TWO of the products in this picture in their bags.

Yes, this is going to be an either/or item 🙂 Some will get the lipstick, others will get a lip balm.

Who knows how they decide? They claim it’s based on our profiles, but I’m not too sure.

Oh I’d really like that UD lippie. Of course, last month I would have liked the Benetint and I didn’t get it. I hate it when there is something that seems *so good* and I don’t get it. (Who would enjoy that?) Overall I’ve been really happy w/ the service. I found Birchbox to be far more disappointing and chintzy in the size of their samples (foil packets and such).
True, bag envy takes away a lot of fun from opening your pink envelope 🙁 That’s why a lot of people dislike Birchbox, because someone always gets your dream box.
I’m really hoping I get the UD lipstick this month, I’ve been dying to try it since it’s release.

I think it’s important to mention Noya’s company model. First of all – their products are all natural so that’s great. Secondly – for every lip balm you buy, the donate one to the homeless. I also know that Noya is just starting to introduce their products in stores so what a great way for Ipsy to help a company get their name out amongst the masses and introduce us to a company who is trying to make a difference. I mean, I love a new lipstick as much as the next girl 🙂 but this is a product that will work for everyone and is supporting a good cause. A+ Ipsy 🙂

I too was one of those who DIDN’t get the Benetint and have no idea how they determine such things. I’d truly be fine with whichever item and agree with the love of the purple. A big featuring that color would be AWESOME.

I got the Benetint last month and I hardly ever use it, because it’s very drying and stings my lips, so you shouldn’t feel bad 🙂

I got Aloap beauty mail this past month, and to me what I received was not worth the price of the subscription at all. :/ I was really disappointed.
I’m in shock at the UD lipstick vs. the lip balm. This was the exact same problem with June’s bag! Some people got a $20 eyeliner vs a $4 pair of lashes. Didn’t Ipsy learn by now that Either-Or items aren’t appreciated if it’s a $20 item vs. a $4 item? Ugh.
Well, unfortunately either/or items are inevitable. Companies probably can’t provide hundreds of thousands of samples to Ipsy so that everyone gets one, and they have to look elsewhere for more.
I’m actually okay with a lip balm over UD’s lipstick. It’s UD, so I’m sure the lipstick is great, but lipstick isn’t really my thing. Plus, I’m almost out of lip balm
I definitely agree though that Ipsy should make their Or items more even in value.

Since i signed up for 2 bags, I wouldnt complain if i got the 1 lipstick in one bag and the lip balm in the other.

Thought I should warn people that the lipstick is not a full size lipstick. I read that on spoiled beauty boxes blog. So that sample size probably won’t be worth the full retail value of a full size. Agree that this or that items are kind of messed up. I wanted the Benitent and Healthy Sexy Hair Spray but I got neither so I ended up buying the samples that other people sold on ebay. Yes I paid almost 2 bags worth for one bag and the two things I wanted but it was worth it to me.
Yes, it’s a deluxe size lipstick (retail packaging is different), but it’s still over twice the retail value of the lip balm 🙂 Smart thinking about eBay, that’s where I get the samples I want, too!
I’m SO excited for this bag! I think I’m more excited to get a review up of it after I receive it. Hopefully it’s as good as a lot of people are wanting ti to be!

That doesn’t look like Mica’s Earth. I recieved it in one of my bags and it’s a pinky brown color. This looks golden.
We think it might be Mica’s Earth after all, because Ipsy uses picture filters heavily.
So are a couple of items in Spoiler #6 items we may have received in bags in the last couple of months? I have that blush and the nail polish. I am very excited for this bag!!
That’s right, Ipsy confirmed that many of these items are leftovers from previous months, but they will ensure that noone will receive the repeats. They are mostly for the new subscribers, who couldn’t have gotten thesm previously.
The bag IS AWESOME! Love it! I’m intrigued by the cheek stain and I can never have too many nail polishes. So my excitement for this bag continues……

I ended up with the Nailtini, the Michael Todd pumpkin masque, the UD lipstick in a gorgeous color, the Pixi mascara and the MicaBeauty loose shadow… I am really happy I made the switch!
