Let’s start with the Truffle Body Gel, which is basically a scented body wash. How much can one even say about a body wash? Here’s what matters to me when choosing the best shower products:
- How effectively and how quickly it removes dirt and odor – I don’t like rubbing my skin forever to make sure it’s clean. This might sound like a no-brainer, bur trust me, I have tried body washes that didn’t seem to wash off anything and formed a nasty foil on top of my skin.
- Fragrance – I have a weakness for scented products because the fragrance adds to my overall shower experience
- How my skin feels after the shower – Even though I have combination skin, which sometimes acts dry during cold months, many body washes make it feel dry and tight. I know it’s usually due to harsh sulfates, but there are always exceptions.
Truffle Body Gel satisfied me with all of the above. My skin didn’t feel dry after the shower, and who can resist that divine sweet fragrance Skin&Co truffle products are famous for? I also noticed that it slightly conditioned my skin, making it appear smoother. And of course, I have to add that it’s very effective at removing dirt and oils, a little will truly go a long way. This small travel-sized bottle lasted me 3 weeks!
Truffle Body Milk is another body treat in Truffle Therapy collection. It boasts the same great ingredients as you will find in facial skincare, making it the ultimate body moisturizer. The company calls it “food for your skin”, because it’s so rich in antioxidants, vitamins and acids, essential for glowy complexion, that the skin just drinks it up. I definitely noticed some positive changes after 2 weeks of use: the skin on my arms, shoulders and in the collarbone area looks like it has inner glow to it. I know these are probably weird areas to mention, but the winter is almost over so I’m finally wearing t-shirts, which allowed me to clearly see the improvements. I really like that the formula is non-sticky and absorbs really well, which lets me get dressed almost immediately after the application.

THE VERDICT
Skin&Co ROMA proved once again the effectiveness of their secret formula, that the Balestra family used for several generations. Truffle Body Gel is a beautifully scented, effective body cleanser that doesn’t make the skin feel dry and tight afterward. Truffle Body Milk is a lightweight and fast-absorbing body moisturizer that really made my skin glow from within.
