Actifirm makes all-natural and organic professional skincare. I have heard good things about the brand and was very excited to find out that they are willing to send me some samples. I loved every single product I got and will be back for more when they have good promotions.
Actizyme Renovation Mushroom Mask
Being quite experienced with clay masks I expected this one to act the same way others did: slightly sting my face, then dry out and reveal the oiliest patches – I was in for a surprise! I used about a third of the sample to cover my face and neck and waited 10 minutes. The skin didn’t sting at all, and I could smell a light scent of mushrooms while it was on my face. So, after 10 minutes I looked at my skin in the mirror and the mask was still in impeccable condition, didn’t even crack anywhere! I was wondering if it even worked, because I expected it to be all cracked and covered with greasy dots in the areas where it sucked out the most oil. To my surprise, my face looked and felt clean, it also considerably brighetend my blackheads so I expect to be rid of them after the sample runs out. I also felt like my face seemed firmer, could be just my imagination though. Overall, this is one of the best mud masks I have tried so far and I would recommend it even to someone with sensitive skin.
Renovation Eye Cream
It softened the skin around my eyes and absorbed quickly. I’m not sure if it will do anything about the fine lines, only the long term results will tell. But the sample has enough product in it to last a while so we will see. I have a couple of short fine lines that I would love to get rid of before they become a big problem in the future.
15% Z-Peel
Although powerful, this enzyme peel is very gentle and didn’t make my face look totally tomato red like I just stepped out of a sauna. Instead it gave me a healthy glow and I immediately noticed the results: my pores seemed less noticeable and overall skin surface was much smoother.
Face Firm Moisturizing Serum
I loved this serum-gel! It’s truly lightweight and provided my skin with long-lasting moisture without making it obviously greasy and shiny. So far I’ve been impressed with all of the actifirm samples I received and if there is ever a great deal on their skincare I might pick up some products.
