Exfoliating Powders 101: Rojukiss Multi Vita Cleansing Powder

Exfoliating powders came to us from Asia; they’ve always been the most popular way to exfoliate in that part of the world, and now more and more Western companies are adopting the concept. I previously wrote reviews on other exfoliating powders here and here, and today I want to show you another one I have in my collection – Rojukiss Multi Vita Cleansing Powder.

With so many Korean exfoliating powders to choose from, I decided to purchase Rojukiss because I knew liked everything I tried from that brand. I had some credit on my Wishtrend account at, so buying it there was a no-brainer.

Rojukiss is a manufacturer of professional-grade cosmetics with their own skin physiology research center that developed products for over 300 dermatology clinics in Korea. Simple packaging design was specifically chosen to balance the product cost for consumers, and to deliver the most effective formulas at affordable prices. Multi Vita Cleansing Powder is one of the brand’s best-selling products, which was another reason behind my purchase. If something works for that many people, it should probably work for me, too.

Multi Vita Cleansing Powder contains vitamins C, E, B5, B3, B6, rice powder, and papaya enzymes that exfoliate and brighten the skin while improving its texture. It comes in a simple-looking dark brown squeeze bottle with a snap-on cap that has one small opening. Rojukiss doesn’t skimp on filling out those bottles – mine was stuffed to the top, literally. It was so full, there was no room for air! I am so used to seeing bottles filled maybe 80% to the top with a little bit of empty space where it starts to get narrow, but not this one. Rojukiss says this powder is suitable for all skin types, but they developed it with oily skin in mind, because it exfoliates and brightens without making the pores go berserk, which produces more oil.

Like other exfoliating powders, Multi Vita Cleansing Powder foams when it comes to contact with water. According to COSDNA analysis, it doesn’t contain any harsh surfactants or irritants, except maybe the papaya enzyme that some people can be sensitive to, but it’s a pretty safe ingredient that most of us can tolerate. The exfoliating particles are very fine, and would even work for people with extra sensitive skin. Overall, I think this is one of the mildest exfoliating powders I tried and it does help to resurface the skin pretty well. I never experienced irritation, redness, or excessive dryness, which can sometimes accompany physical exfoliation.

Do you need this? Yes and no. Nobody really “needs” a physical exfoliant, because more and more dermatologists recommend chemical peels instead. And those of us who like that satisfying feeling of sloughing off dead skin can get it from using brushes like Clarisonic. However, if you like to use your hands instead of a machine, exfoliating powders are a much better option than regular scrubs. This one is really good and definitely worth taking a second look.
