Alright, time to be all gushy-gushy about another blush. Goodness, how I love blushes! I think it’s a pale girl thing, because I look like a ghost without a hint of color on my cheeks, and they don’t really get flushed much naturally except when I workout. I just tried three uh-maazing new Pür Minerals Chateau Cheek Stains, and been using one of them literally every day since they came in the mail.
First of all, how cool is this packaging? These gel-cream blush sticks come in a super convenient twist-up packaging that is perfect for keeping one or two in your purse for touchups on the go. But wait, there’s more! Each cheek stain tube is also equipped with a full-sized synthetic fluffy blush brush for blending out that color without getting your fingers dirty. Genius, isn’t it?
The colors I got to try are nude pink Peach Bellini, bright pink shimmering Rose, and plummy fuchsia Prosecco. On the skin Rose is actually the lightest of the bunch, and aside from the soft pink pastel tint it also provides the cheeks with a beautiful shimmery finish. It’s a gorgeous shade for Spring and Summer months.
Peach Bellini looks like a very soft light bronzer on my cheeks, which I tried using as a soft contour and for adding a little color to the cheeks when I don’t want to look like I have makeup on. It also has a little bit of shimmer in the formula, although not nearly as much as Rose; it’s more of a subtle sheen.
As great as the other two sound, it was Prosecco that truly stole my heart. This beautiful plummy wine red gave my cheeks the most natural-looking flush, and made my skin look a million times better, even when I wear no other makeup. There is no shimmer in this one, just pure color deposited by a gel stick, that feels kind of like those solid gel deodorants, if that makes sense.
Swatch reference: My skin tone is between MAC NC15 and NW15 with yellowish hue and neutral undertones. Sometimes I can wear NW20 in the Summer. I thought this would be useful to know, since all screens show colors differently, and I also don’t have a studio setup with consistent lighting. Hope that helps!
All three lasted roughly 6 hours on my skin without touchups, but like I said, the built-in brush makes touchups super easy. Usually it’s a chore to do, but with this clever packaging it’s swipe, blend, and go.
If you prefer more opaque coverage, these blushes probably won’t do, but anybody that loves a no makeup look will find themselves reaching for Pür Minerals Chateau Cheek Stains quite often, perhaps even on the daily like me!
WHERE TO BUY: $26 USD for 0.19 oz. Available at Ulta.

These look so beautiful. As a pale-ish girl myself, I love a natural flush of color sometimes. I bet these look amazing on you!
AH yes, the ever-elusive natural flush that doesn’t look too bright on pale complexions 🙂 These are quite lovely for fair-skinned girls!
These look gorgeous for a nice flush of color!
I couldn’t agree more, Lisa!
These look super nice. WANT!
Aren’t they pretty? 😀 Girl, you need to try Prosecco, it will look gorgeous on you!
These are pretty! They look too sheer for me, though.
They are pretty sheer and meant for more of a natural flush kind of look. Rose is the most opaque among them, probably because it’s packed with shimmer.
I like cream blushes but I haven’t tried these. I wonder how well they will show up on my skin.
I think it depends on the color, but Rose will definitely look gorgeous because it’s quite opaque and shimmery.
