Kendra Scott Elle Earrings in Slate – My profile says that I prefer silver jewelry over gold, and also earrings over necklaces, and lookie what we got here! A very pretty pair of silver earrings, and they look so elegant on me, too.

At first I thought they would be too long and too heavy, but the size and weight were just right. After inspecting each earring, I didn’t notice any defects; they seem to be really well-made. Some subscribers received necklaces, and there were also variations of gem colors sent out, too. I like that mine are gray-ish, so I can pair them with just about anything.

Paddywax Ocean Tide + Sea Salt Mini Jar Candle – Love the size and the rustic charm of this candle. The jar looks absolutely adorable, and can even be reused later once the candle is gone.

I expected the fragrance to be some sort of barf-inducing chemical mess, like those “sea wave” and “ocean fresh” bathroom cleaning products, but it actually had a very pleasant light scent to it. It just smells clean. I’m excited to try it out!

Goodbyn Purple Meal and Dipper Set – I could never say no to another high quality food storage container, even though I never really use the bento box POPSUGAR sent us a few months ago. This one is different though, it’s like a little box for a snack with a cutsey mini-container for the dip.

One of the ladies from MakeupTalk tested it to see if it’s leakproof, and what do you know, it actually is! The lid shuts tightly enough so I can easily store and transport soup in there, without worrying that it would spill. The possibilities are endless! I could carry some sour cream for the soup in that tiny container, or have some sliced fruit in one compartment, and some fresh veggies with a dip in another.

The Mason Jar Cookie Company Celebrate! Cookie Mix – Who doesn’t like cookies? This mix is pre-measured and requires only eggs and butter to create two dozen festive cookies.

The mix features high quality ingredients, like some fancy flours, premium brown sugar, and Koppers milkies. I plan to bake them this weekend, and then see how fast hubs and I go through them. I’m willing to bet they won’t survive very long 😉

Lollia At Last Perfumed Shower Gel – I can never say no to a fancy body wash, and based on my previous experience with Lollia washed, I think I’m going to like this one. It’s infused with shea butter and jojoba oil, so it cleanses and moisturizes the skin at the same time.

This body wash has a very pleasant light fragrance of magnolias and mimosas, so to me it smells like Spring! I’ll keep it in the cabinet for a few months and use it during Winter as a nice pick me up for those dark and dreary mornings.

Bite Beauty Lush Fruit Lip Gloss in Popsugar Pink – What a neat collaboration! Made exclusively for POPSUGAR, this lip gloss shade matches the signature pink color of our Must Have boxes. I never really thought about a lip product being the same color as the packaging, even though other subscription services have their own signature colors, too [Birchbox collaborated with Jouer, Glossybox with Kryolan].

The formula is absolutely fantastic! Bite Beauty makes products that are safe enough to eat, and you know how paranoid I am about ingesting junk through lip licking, right? The formula is non-sticky, offers sheer to medium pigmentation, and has a light fruity fragrance with sweet aftertaste. The color is very lovely, too, it’s now one of my purse staples.

thinkThin Brownie Crunch High Protein Bar – This was labeled as an extra, so it’s not an official part of the box. I normally don’t like the taste of protein bars but this one was really good, almost like a real candy bar.

It’s packed with 20 grams of protein, making each bar a satisfying meal replacement. I had it instead of lunch one day, and felt full all the way until dinner.

THE VERDICT
This year it’s sort of under the radar, but August is actually POPSUGAR’s Anniversary month, and this box did not disappoint. I seriously liked every single item, and plan to use everything. I normally measure how much I enjoy the box by the number of products I end up giving away, and in this one I’m definitely keeping everything for myself!
