CONTENTS:
1 // Sunnylife Inflatable Swan Drink Holder [$18, available here] – OMG, you guys, have you ever gotten a float in a subscription box? I bet you haven’t! This inflatable swan is the perfect size to act as a cup holder for the pool that can moonlight as a fun ride for the little ones. I am seriously so impressed with the size and the quality of this thing. It’s very well made, and I will totally bring it to the pool with me next week.
2 // House of Pom Emoji Cocktail Napkins [$25, available here] – These napkins are totally on point, and the quality is top notch. They kinda look like little coasters actually, so that’s what I thought they were before I checked in with the product card.
3 // European Wax Center Oh My Brows! Brow Highlighter in Pearl [$19, available here] – I actually already own one of these, and I think it’s pretty nice if you like cream highlighters. I used it for a while, and then went back to my Mary-Lou Manizer, because I guess I prefer the powder formula after all.
4 // Pintrill Pineapple Pin [$12, available here] – Pins are in again! This vintage-inspired pineapple pin is the cutest thing ever, and it doesn’t look like it’s cheaply made. The detailing is perfectly aligned everywhere, there are no rough edges, or other visible defects anywhere. Basically, it’s just a tiny pin but it doesn’t look like a cheap dollar store trinket, if you know what I mean. I still haven’t decided how I want to wear mine, but I will probably stick it on a tshirt or a jacket.
5 // Michael Stars Porcelain Skinny Scarf [$30, available here] – This is my second Michael Stars scarf, and if the first one could pass for a quality accessory, this one seemed more like a store reject. While this particular pattern is not my personal cup of tea, it’s the overall condition that really bothered me: loose threads and uneven stitching made it look like something from a final clearance bin. I decided to tie this scarf around my swan’s neck, I think it looks better on him than on me 🙂
6 // Sachajuan Hair in the Sun [$32, available here] – Sun protection products for hair are a must if you like to spend time by the pool or at the beach. Unlike body lotions with SPF, I don’t wear hair protective products daily, but I always try to make an effort to at least apply something like that when I know I will be spending the day outside. I actually didn’t have a chance to use Hair in the Sun yet, but I do plan to take a 3-week long vacation starting next week and beach/pool is totally on the agenda.
7 // Joe Chips Classic Sea Salt Retro Potato Chips [$1.49, available here] – Even though I’m on a diet, I still have cheat days when I treat myself to a pint of nice beer or a slice of pizza. This time my treat was a bag of Joe Chips, and they were delicious. I love the vintage taste of these baked potato slices, they reminded me of the chips my grandma used to make for my sister and I. I’d totally buy these again!
BOTTOM LINE:
Despite my disappointment with the quality of the scarf, I am still totally in love with the rest of POPSUGAR Must Have July 2016 box offerings. The swan float alone is something I never knew I needed, and now I am counting days til that trip to the beach. All things considered, I think this is one of my favorite POPSUGAR boxes to date.

Ooh, a a 3-week long vacation sounds like a treat. Where are you going?
It’s more of a staycation actually, but we will be traveling short distance for little trips. My Mom is visiting from Russia so we’ll be doing lots of shopping, going to the beach, and exploring the area 🙂
