You all know I have a special place in my heart for skincare, and I’m always on the hunt for the next best thing to add to my ever-changing beauty wardrobe. Today I wanted to talk about one of my recent discoveries that joined the rotation just a few weeks ago – NUDE Advanced Renewal Moisturizer [$88 for 1.7 oz]. Developed for dehydrated aging skin, this velvety cream contains omegas 6 and 9, probiotics, and protective antioxidants to combat the dryness, and provide instant boost of moisture and radiance.
While Advanced Renewal Moisturizer is not marketed specifically as a night cream, I chose to incorporate it in my evening routine, because I needed a good occlusive to seal in layers upon layers of other moisturizing serums and essences. Used in tandem with my other favorite NUDE Skincare Progenius Treatment Rescue Oil [reviewed here], it yielded great results!
The texture of the cream is thick and heavy, which is something I was a little concerned about, since my skin is prone to clogging. However, I was in for a pleasant surprise! Despite its heavyweight appearance, the cream spread over my skin like butter and didn’t feel greasy at all. I found it best to apply using patting motions, that way it properly fused with other products on my face, while staying perfectly put.
I’ll be honest and say that I’m not a huge fan of jar packaging, but I try to be diligent about using a clean spatula whenever I have a product like that. I have a whole bunch of them left over from other moisturizers, but it would be nice if NUDE also included one in the box. A pretty purple one to mimic the color of the outer packaging would be lovely!
Fellow scent-sensitive migrainiacs will be happy to know that Advanced Renewal Moisturizer has a very subtle fragrance that isn’t all up in your nostrils. A little powdery and a little nutty, it feels warm and inviting without causing any olfactory irritations. The formula is free of PEGs, TEA, propylene glycol, petrolatum, synthetic color, synthetic fragrance, mineral oil, and silicones, so this moisturizer will also work for people conscious about the ingredients in their skincare in general.
Overall, NUDE Advanced Renewal Moisturizer gets a big thumbs up from me, because it’s a winner on so many levels. Whenever I use it, I always wake up with soft and radiant-looking skin in the morning, and that’s worth a lot in my book.
You can buy NUDE Advanced Renewal Moisturizer at Sephora.

It sounds like one to add to my list!
It’s very nourishing, and works well for stressed and dehydrated skin. My face is loving it this winter!
I have the ProGenius Oil and this sounds like a good edition to it.
Definitely a good addition! I love pairing it with Progenius Oil, they are a match made in skincare heaven 🙂
I’ve heard raves about this brand, especially their progenius oil, and I really want to try their stuff. Glad to hear it wasn’t clogging, because I have the same problem!
Progenius oil is one of my most favorite products ever, it’s definitely worth a try! It works even for oily skin,
My skin is so moody – I constantly have to change up my moisturizers.
Likewise, I have to change things up and my skin seems to love the changes 🙂
Sounds fabulous! My skin clogs easily too.
That’s a big problem of mine, because some really nice moisturizers that everybody loves just don’t work for me. Glad this one didn’t break me out!
This sounds great. I’ve been looking for a new moisturizer, too.
You should give this one a try – it works really well as a nighttime treatment.
