I received this nail polish as a bonus referral item in my July Ipsy Glam Bag, and at first I just didn’t get it. Don’t get me wrong, I love purples, but it just didn’t strike me as a flattering color. That was until had to swatch it for the Ipsy bag review, when I realized how gorgeous it is.
Pretty In Plum is a fantastic plum creme with beautiful blue shimmer that goes on opaque starting from the very first coat. The application was very smooth, and the even glossy finish almost makes you forget about applying the top coat.
As for the staying power and chip resistance, unfortunately I can’t comment on those, because I usually paint my nails several times a week, so it doesn’t even get a chance to start chipping.
