It sure feels like I was just complaining about the weather being too cold, but it suddenly got nice and warm here, so I can finally enjoy the outdoors without having to wear ten layers of clothing. Warmer weather also means that I am now craving different types of snacks. When it’s cold out, I usually think about something warm and hearty, but now that I can actually sleep with my windows open, I found myself wandering around the Frozen Foods aisle for ideas.

On my last trip to Walmart, I stocked up on my favorites, and also spotted a new variety that I haven’t seen before – Outshine Simply Yogurt Bars that come in seven flavors: Strawberry, Blueberry, Pineapple, Peach, Lemon, Mango, and Strawberry Banana

First of all, I try to move more, which is actually not as hard as I thought it would be – all it takes is at least a little walk every day, and it’s already healthier than just a straight up diet.

New Outshine Simply Yogurt Bars caught my eye, because they’re made with real yogurt, fruit, and fruit juice, and contain live & active cultures, so they are not only a fun and satisfying snack, but they make me feel good, too. And you know what else is awesome? Most of them are only 90 calories per bar! By the way, since making these changes, I already lost 6lbs, which is very reassuring.

They’re made with coconut water and real chunks of pineapple, and contain a fair amount of Vitamin C – 20% of the recommended daily dose per serving. Also, coconut water is loaded with electrolytes, that help your body stay hydrated throughout the day. It pretty much tastes like vacation on a stick, haha 😉
